Obviously it's an experimental treatment where the staff trust the patients and the patients learn to trust themselves... I imagine the head doctor's announcement at breakfast after the first kill went something like this: "Nurse Carolleta was brutally murdered last night. And don't worry, I and all the rest of the staff understand that mistakes happen, and we're all here to help you get better not to judge you. But nevertheless, if this sort of thing starts happening too often everyone is going to lose their battle axe privileges, and no one wants that."

Oh jeez...Klaus Kinski strikes again. Jokes aside, I got something to say to all the viewers: 👇 I understand many of you are aware of Roger Corman's sudden passing last weekend. Hopefully, GoodBadFlicks will probably a special about him in the near future. But if there is any tribute I would like to see in this channel covered in the near future, its David Sanborn's Night Music that was aired near midnight on NBC (1989-1992). The program showcased live performances of mostly Jazz's greatest artists of all time. As of today, I've learned that David has passed on which affected me very deeply. His contribution to pop culture including the Lethal Weapon Saga and other collabs with other artists will forever be ingrained in entertainment history. I wish both David and Roger a safe journey and lifetime of peace in the sea of paradise. I'll miss ya, both. RIP. 💐💐

There is one good thing about this film, and I am surprised it was not mentioned. Professor Osterman was played by the great John Karlsen. A character actor that I first became aware of only a year or so before this film came out. In the film Mission Stardust, John plays Crest. The alien scientific leader on a spaceship stranded on the moon. Though portraying an ailing man, John displays the strength and dignity Crest--so revered by his people--has come to expect. Great Performance, and a wonderfully talented actor.
