Love instead of hate, compassion for those who mourn and cures for diseases that take life too soon. I enjoy your videos Kayla. You may feel like your health issues keep you from being useful but I am here to say, you are a big blessing to many people. I usually watch KZbin at bedtime and you keep me company, keep me inspired to keep pressing on. I am 71 and have crocheted for years, love to color, paint plaster craft items, sew and embroider. I have degenerative spine, fibromyalgia, arthritis. I have had 8 hand surgeries…still have my fingers so my heart goes out to you having lost them, and it’s amazing all you do so well with your hands! I pray your health stays under control so you can have your wish for a great year!❤

Hi Kayla, im so glad you are still hanging in there. I am sorry you aren’t feeling well. This year new year I will be working on trying to stay healthy. It’s always hard when you have to change everything you’ve been doing most of your life and relearning how to do things better for yourself. For me, I’ve always had a limited diet and it has now just become even more restricted. My poor husband can’t even eat anything with garlic because it makes me sick. So even his diet has had to change. Love you Kayla, you just do what’s good for you and I’m sure it will be better for you and Big Daddy Wishing you both a Happy New Year 🙏💞🙏

As others have said, I love seeing you, Kayla. You have become my cyber friend, even though you don’t know me. Hope that’s not too weird! I will watch whatever video you choose to make. I love your notebook idea. I’ve kind of been doing that for a while without knowing it was a “thing”. I have a little 5x7 spiral notebook beside my chair in the kitchen where I write down things I want to remember. I also keep track of my water intake. My plastic tumblers hold 16 oz of water. So when I finish a cup, I make a mark on the page. I try to at least have 4 marks by the end of the day, which equals 64 oz, which is my goal. I like how you decorated random pages with stickers and washi tape. I never think about going to Five Below for stickers. I don’t find many I like at Dollar Tree, so I will try 5⬇️. I started a new blanket yesterday to donate to the Boggy Creek children’s camp. It uses a lot of granny clusters and is growing fast. The blankets only have to be 35-40 inches wide, and 40-50 inches long. My colors are light pink, darker pink and white, with black being the accent color. It’s a stripe pattern. I got the idea from the lady (April) who has the channel Crafting in the Night. I pray you and Big Daddy will get over this sickness soon. Happy New Year 🌀‼️💥 ❤-Brenda in Virginia

Hi Kayla, good to see you. My husband had to do that before his surgery. They made him take a shower before bed, then wipe down with the cloths, then take a shower again in the morning and wipe down again with the cloths then at the hospital he had to wipe down again.

Hi, Kayla. I love this when I was a teenager I used to journal and have little books, too. When I was a child, I had little sticker books too. I used to have Strawberry Shortcake and care bear stickers. I burned my teenage journals when I moved out of my parents house part of me wishes I had them but part of me thinks it's a good thing I got rid of them i had some dark days. I was born legally blind, and I've lost more eyesight. I no longer have enough eyesight to keep a handwritten journal, it sucks cuz I would love to do something like this but that's okay. I started keeping just a typed journal on my computer during my 20s. Now, I just dictate my journal onto my cell phone, everyday, keeping random notes about my day what I'm reading what I'm watching my feelings, what's going on in my life, I find journaling very therapeutic, and I used to work as a therapist and even recommended it to my clients. I do love this though, and wish I could find a way to do some Type of basic by hand journal still that allows me to be a little bit more creative than just dictating. I love this though. And I'm going to share your video on my Facebook page, because I want to encourage other people to do this as well, and I want to encourage them to check out your channel. Thanks for the video. Christa of the Secret Yarnery created a planner to download and print. Then I created a weekly page to include. So on the month page, I keep track of weight, sleep, and temperature for my temperature cross stitch project. I will probably add mood as well with colored pencils. Then on the weekly sheets, I write about the daily Catholic mass readings, intentions, blessings, and what I did for the day. Since I have an Etsy shop, I keep track of my inventory/makes to track my income possibility. I have my daily prayers written on a piece of paper and I have three Psalms I say every day. That paper is in a sheet protector in my notebook. I also include any appointments and how my husband is feeling since he has many health issues. Christa’s monthly sheet also has a place for goals, so I put short obtainable goals.

What a great idea to make a notebook like that! I just went into Amazon & saved some sets of Christian inspirational stickers into my wishlist! Hmmm.... I've decided I'm going to learn German this year, so I might do that for the book I use for it! I've been using a 5 year planner & 2025 is the last year in it, which has a month to 2 pages. It works great for me & doesn't overwhelm me, but I can see all of my appointments for the month in a glance. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

I have a notebook going all the time. It's a journal, recipe book, crochet projects, appointments, reminders, research topics and general information. Because I vent in it, I shred it when it's full. It does help keep me on track. I'm currently crocheting a red sweater. I made one about a year ago and did a hideous job. I blame the pattern of course. So I had to frog the entire thing. It had to be done but it hurt. I check in on your channel from time to time to see what you're up to❤
