I will back to Don Mueang Airport. I finally returned to that Airport after 31 years ago. My last for used to this Airport was 31 years ago from/to Hong Kong flew on Cathay Pacific, 1992.

My father worked for Sikorsky aircraft and was an advisor to the RTAF in BKK from 1969-1971. We lived in BKK and sometimes we would go to Don Muang. The air force had one side of the field while the civilian airlines had the other. We used to be allowed to drive our Datsun car along the taxiways and across the field. I can still hear the scream of those early jeys in my ears to this day. Great memories.

I miss when thailand used this airport as their international hub. Don't ever take down this video.

But it still reopened in 2007 and only used as a budget airport majority of their planes are airasia and also crowded
