I've already had a Branson and it's a piece of crap!!!! When you load it on the trailer and let the bucket down it will blow the hydraulic oil out the back where the breather tube is. The loader on the tractor is also a piece of crap if you go digging in the dirt it will dig deeper on one side than on the other.. Big bucket will bend very easy so don't try to dig any hard dirt manufacturers says it's not designed for doing that!!! Oh and by the way if you go througha ditch make sure you don't go through it on an angle because if you do the front-end will twist and the radiator fan will hit the shroud.... So have fun with your mistake!!

Sounds a lot like operator error to me. I'm sorry you're not happy with your Branson. Ive been really happy with the one I'm driving. If I have any issues with it, I'll be sure to make a video on it .

I have watched many of your videos and have learned many things, but have a like a little but hate your videos a lot. Why you ask. Simple, you are the most biased person that I watch, I still learn though. Sort of like watching Dr pimple popper. I know you are a good person but just so biased. You start out with your first tractor a Mahindra 4520 that was a very basic tractor and this model Mahindra was designed in the stone age. I was a great tractor in its day and even today if that is what you want. My real issue is all the half truths you used when you bought that tractor. The one saying that you have that just drives me crazy is "it punches higher than its class". You said it competes with tractors in the 60HP range! So now you have a new Branson. I understand because at the end of the day it is about money plus cab and air helps. On the Mahindra you made a big deal about it not requiring to regen and YOU even stated that when a tractor with regen you have to stop while it regens, you also made it sound like that you would have to change the DPF filter often. The Mahindra dealers also say that! Then you talked about the Mahindra's weight and lifting capacities. The Branson 4820, and your 5220, compare about the same as the Mahindra. The Branson also has to regen but is something in the past you made a big deal about. All this to saw PLEASE, PLEASE get away from the mine is better than your's type of stuff. You even compared your Mahindra to your neighbor's small yard tractor Kubota. Thanks for listening to my rant because there are tons of different makes of equipment out there, like the new Summit. And most are probably good.

I just laid down the cash for a Mahindra 4550. Hopefully comes Friday. This channel helped me make up my mind. Also due to the dealership, as it is fairly local as I live in a rural area. They did state they have lately had a harder time getting parts in for their Mahindra line, which I employ Mahindra USA needs to address this-ASAP. Rep means everything for sales. They also sold New Holland, but I was determined to get a old school, all steel and cast iron, gear type tractor that is basically a copy of an older IH design, which Mahindra had a license to build, and something I am used to. I just look at some of these newer, even name brand tractors, with plastic engagement handles, fiberglass everywhere, and it makes me want to roll my eyes. What are you guys thinking? The guys at the dealership stated that they had very few problems with the 4540 or the 4550 and they are built like tanks and have sold many of them. I remember the deal where Cummins was building engines for Iveco with the Cummins 4BT and 4NA when the joint partnership started. The engineering changes they did for their version of the Cummins original design was what I would call IMHO more than cost cutting, but poor engineering decisions. Now, how their own complete designs are working for Case/IH now, can't say, but I think the brand was far better off with all or majority of Cummins powerplants. Cummins does it's homework. They have hiccups as well, but they are quick to address any engineering issues or problems that are hitting at warranty, at least at my level. The problem I see, is this working from home mentality that has taken over in all of our industries, especially at the top levels. Top level oversight engineers, CEO's, Quality Control, Supplier Quality Control, New Product Introduction at the top, needs to be where the metal hits the meat, and it ain't at sitting at home watching the kids play in your PJ's, joining a Zoom meeting, so you don't have to pay for daycare, or gas or even dress to come to work. You need to be like the rest of the ones, who actually come to work at home base or plant, every freaking day, Like me. Because of Covid, they think this is a new "perk" working for a company, some even demand it as a course of employment. This needs to STOP. I didn't get to ya for 4 hours, because I was cutting my grass, or have bad internet where I am at. I have to get off of work, to cut my freaking grass. Feel me on this? Problem is, this mentality is across all of major US industry now. It also shows in product quality. Look at all the major US car makers, even overseas makers. Recall, after recall, after recall.

Not a fair comparison. My 4540 was gear drive. I liked my Branson a lot better than the Mahindra. The Branson didn’t give me any issues at all for 300 hours. The Mahindra had fuel issues that we video’s and then after I sold it, the new owner had electrical issues.

15 years ago I bought a Branson tractor. I bought the 2810 model. 4x4, front loader, no enclosed cab though. Got the quick detach plate. Front loader complete detach. Two speed PTO, to auxiliary hookup. Shuttle shift, axle lock. Little tractor worked great. Only problem I ever experienced was the fuel shut off solenoid. It's an electrical / mechanical shut off valve. Wish I had bought the cab with a c 😔. This was a great purchase in combination with my dump truck business. 👍👍

Whats interesting is only Kubota and Mahindra actually MAKE their tractors. The rest, Deere, this one, and several others are ASSEMBLED by their perspective companies from other manufacturers parts. If you look at them all, the layouts are pretty much the same and parts are somewhat interchangeable. So when it comes down to it, go black and white, find the one with the best deal, and don't look at color. (Except orange, orange always rocks!) Why are JD tractors green? They envy Kubota, thats why! LOL J/K 🤣

My old neighbor had a 4720 Branson 4x4 w/ loader it was open station and it was a tank! He loved that tractor and used the heck out of it! It's a well built and modern technology, I believe you will love it too! He passed away from cancer and his widow had an auction sold the farm and downsized!

Hank, I am seriously considering the 5520R open station tractor. Have you had any regeneration issues that required dealer or factory support? I have never had a tractor with DCO, SRC, or DPF and that is a major concern.
@HamiltonvilleFarm
@HamiltonvilleFarm 3 жыл бұрын
I have not. I have 280 hours on my 5220c and it has had exactly zero issues. This tractor has been awesome. The 5520R has been a really good tractor for Branson from what I hear. Ask the service department folks at the dealer you’re thinking of buying from if they had any issues. That will be a good indication of how they are preforming

As a subscriber and Tractor enthusiast I would like you to answer a couple questions after spending time on the Branson. 1. After having the luxury of a climate control cab heat and air, would you go back to an open station Tractor. 2. Do you think the glass on the cab restricts your ability to get in tighter spaces. 3. On an open station you have the ability to hear and see much better would this affect your decision process on the purchase? These are a couple things I've wanted to know. Thanks Hank. 4. Lastly, does Gina like her Chickens more than you?😝 You are a great American. Mark.
