Rest In Peace Tony. I found the Asher house through Tony while watching the Dodo. I love German Shepherds and currently have one, I’ve had three others that have pasted and two of them were rescues. My baby German Shepherd had to go yesterday after nearly 14 years with me, wifey, and my daughter. This is the hardest and deepest pain I have ever felt...and I'm 54...and my mom has passed. Tony didn’t die from starvation, on the side of a road ,alone in agony or in pain. Instead, he went on in the best possible way and got to experience love and live the last part of his life with so much and he got to peacefully passed away. That’s what you gave sweet Tony. This makes me cry because I have a German shepherd who I know one day will have to cross that rainbow bridge someday. The end of life is the hardest part to think about when you love your pet so much and they fill this special place in your heart. Grief is hard but remember you gave that dog the best gift. Tony didn’t give up on life. It was his time. Tony lived his best life thanks to you. What a gift. Thankyou for all that you do. 💜 Rest In Peace, sweet Tony

My heart rips for this extraordinary man and his pack. We have all experienced the heartbreak that he is going through and time is God's medicine for the pain of losing a beloved pet. I'm 72 years young and 4 cuddly canines is my norm as was my parents. Each and every one has a permanent home in my heart. You pour your soul into these beautiful animals to give them the absolute best. Tony will now play and lay in the sun with his other brothers and sisters in the sun. Lee you’re such a courageous soul with the heart of a giant ! The loss is tremendous for all of us but of course, especially you. I have a 10 yr old gsd who has had circumstances that led to weight gain and then hip issues. My pup has lost the weight ( he’s down to 120 and on thyroid meds) but every day is a blessing. God bless you for continuing to love these creatures that find their way into our hearts, if only for a while. He’ll be forever remembered thanks to you! As I was told when my older pup died, we will meet again at the rainbow bridge. RIP and run free Tony!❤️

My heart aches for you, Lee, the pack and the entire Asher House family. Unfortunately, because your heart is so big and because you love these babies so deeply, this will never get easier. This heartache we feel is the price we pay for being blessed enough to have these animals in our lives. Lee, I pray you find peace in knowing that you gave Tony, and every animal you rescue, the BEST, happiest and most love-filled life possible. They are able to shed the trauma of their past and live the life they were meant to live because of the life you give them. I'm tearing up!😢 I, too, have had dogs for over 30 years now, and I asked God, after getting my 1st, to please not make me ever have to make the decision to send them to heaven but I have had to make that decision every time, but once, so far! It is the most heart & soul breaking thing I have EVER had to do! It is sooooo very hard to be strong in times like this! My heart breaks for you as I watch this video. God bless you for what you do for these lovely animals/companions! You are the best and Tony knew that from day 1 of meeting you! He'll meet you in heaven when you arrive. I have all my dogs cremated & when I die, I will be cremated & we will all be buried together! Always together!🎉😂😊😊😊😊

I understand exactly what you have to go through, loosing a pet is loosing a family member & no matter how long they are gone it’s never easy to get through it. We have lost so many over the years & every time it happens it hurts worse & worse. But one thing I do know about German shepards is when they find their person that is their person they attached to that person, he loved you to the core & always will. Remember that. Remember all the best things you are doing for all the dogs you rescue, you give them their life back you give them love you give them a home physically & mentally. You are their person & they will love you from now & until forever. I love watching your videos watching how many lives you save it amazes me and inspires me in so many ways.
