I’m a Brit and visited Nashville in 1995. I wanted to get to Graceland so got the Greyhound from Nashville to Memphis. Thought it would be prudent to go to the restroom before getting on the bus and received my first insight into the difference between Britain and the USA. The cubicles in the men’s room had no doors. A real culture shock.

Hello from Brit living in Berlin, Germany. Only been to the US twice - Miami Christmas/New Year 2016/17, and Boston/Connecticut with a day trip io N Y City in April 2002. (Loved every minute of it, by the way!) You two sure know how to find good things wherever you go - that fried chicken is to die for! Now unfortunately 70% disabled so can't travel far, but I do enjoy videos from your good selves (+ Mark Wiens, the Food Ranger, Samuel & Audrey) to remind me of how things used to be. My Connecticut visit in 2002 made sure that I visited historic Lichfield and the couple of covered bridges in Ct. Wonderful part of the world. Looking forward to your next vids!

That's a much nicer bus than any I've ever been on! There's never enough leg room for me, sadly, as I'm nearly 5' 10" and I'm quite long legged. Glad to see y'all visiting some new states, and it's interesting to see your bus journey, thanks for sharing. The food looked good but I'm surprised they served collard greens, as that always strikes me more as a Southern thing.

The station you guys were in was Union Station in New Haven, CT :) Also man, you guys got the hook up because I’ve had really amazing trips on Greyhound but I’ve also had really bad ones. They’re slowly working on costumer service though. Last trip I had they were so late (at that station actually,) and I was supposed to transfer in NYC. Well no, missed the bus that I was supposed to catch at 1pm and didn’t catch it until 5 and got home at 9pm. It was a mess. I have also been broken down somewhere in Jersey. They brought us another bus two hours later. With that said I’ve had amazing trips with them! Friendly, on time, gorgeous stops. :) That chicken looks amazing!! Looking forward to seeing more of your trip!

Excellent video. You've created a channel that offers an armchair vantage point to travel. It feels comfortable, reliable and fun. I love how you're including more reviews about the food. It's more like a friend describing what to eat when you visit a place. How much was each meal btw?

I've done this journey a few times in the past, either by Amtrak or Peter Pan Buses. The bus is 95% as nice as the train for 40% of the cost (usually) and likely even less with this greyhound offer.

New London, Connecticut... Home of the United States Coast Guard Academy and across the Themes River, in Groton, CT, the U.S. Navy submarine base that is the home to 15 (Los Angeles and Virginia Class) attack submarines and a submarine construction company. Most submarine officers and enlisted members get trained at that base and it is the main submarine base on the East Coast.
