Last January while i was in Vegas for CES, someone knocked my beloved hoe off of her life support. Usually she is good for about 4-5 days tops when not hooked up to the wall. I have 11 year old batteries under the bottom...and they have for sure taken abuse but as long as they were on their intellicharger by the end of the evening they did fine. This time though, i came home to about 2 volts. She has been sitting ever since. The shop is a VERY busy place so it is easy to ignore it and let it collect dust. But i couldn't take it anymore! Join me on this journey to revive my Hoe! The ORIGINAL hoe! The hoe that made you want a hoe for yourself!

This was something i have been meaning to do for a long time! When i took off my fan shroud to work on the quad-alternator bracket (see previous recent videos for the build), i knew this was the time. So i made a few phone calls to find out my BEST option for this vehicle. This was it. So i did it. I'm loving it so far! Now with this out of the way i can start running wires from the alternators to the regulators and the big cables to the rear of the vehicle. Fun! Today i went live while we were doing this. Brandon is a beast & one heck of a mechanic! Props to him for a Great job!!! I have eliminated every variable except the pins on my ecu on a 03 focus which i have rebuilt from top to bottom! Respect is deserved & equally earned when one see's quality workmanship, experience, & judgement! My hats off to Brandon for that fan install, ecu pin out, & a damb good job!!!

Steve, your comment about making the fan wrench on the laser is a really good idea. I’m sure your boy could use all kinds of specialized removal tools. Those kits aren’t cheap and they’re usually made from crap mild steel.

Engine Masters did an engine dyno test a couple years ago and ditching the engine driven clutch fan freed up something like 25-30 hp.

Did the same thing to my 03 Silverado. It will add a little hp and torque, I live in hot ass Tx and it keeps engine temp perfect. Good decision to install them.

We've been running our E-fan conversions with a Flex-A-Lite 31165 controller, that way we can dial in the temp settings(as cool as 165°). No knock but it's easier than that. But hey, to each his or her own. We can

we dialed in the temp settings the RIGHT way. Thru the computer. Im sure the aftermarket stuff works fine for you but this is still the best way to go.

I cut a rib off the 7 rib belt to make it a 6 rib. Probably .002 +/- ratio on my cut. I'm only human what can i say LOL! Belt is fine and not even noticeable in person... but if stared at on a YT video in 1080 @ 60fps, you can see it some. No big deal.

They bolt right up. Some of the SUV’s will need the bigger radiator swapped in though

Dont run when not needed. So lets say driving at 45mph without A/C on. Also on low speed they dont do 30 amps, more like 10 amps.
