Good video Being in Bristol the only time i have seen some 455 units is when they are going to Newport docks .

Lovely video, I did hear that Charring Cross were not happy at enthusiasts being there but I was also a Denmark Hill on platform 4 when it passed, love chasing yesterday charter and sad to see them go

Oh that was back luck that I never spotted you, there was two other guys standing with me at Denmark Hill so you must have been at the tunnel end. Yeah Simon I heard about that jobsworth staff member on Charring Cross having ago at a very young enthusiast saying he will call the police if you don't move off the platform. Bloody disgusting. Excellent detailing and camera work! Superb action and variety! Splendid crossovers and captures! You did well there! Another I'm sad to see go! Good tones too! Great stuff! Top class! No faults at all! Well done! Great work! Another great session there! There livery was also pretty nice, so that's another shame, as I liked the light green. They were a good train, the end of an era Southwestern examples won't last much longer Their greater Anglia cousins (315 & 317) are on *BORROWED* time and their days are numbered, and running out - very sad but we have to be realistic as to how old they are and this generation of rolling stock will soon be *EXTINCT* _AND I AM GLAD I WENT AND GOT _*_FOOTAGE_*_ OF THEM WHILST I STILL HAD THE CHANCE OF THEM _*_STILL IN SERVICE_*

Good video capture and sound. These must be among the last of the trains with DC motors and camshaft control. Not my favourite as they replaced the 4 SUBs. However there seems to be an urge to rush trains to the scrapyard even though they have a decade of useful life ahead. These units had severe corrosion problems after 10 years in service but I assume it was fixed. Ride quality was the best thing about them.

@@antman09ful1 Well (from what I heard anyway) with Southeastern rolling out more and more of their class 707's and replacing more class 465's, there is a possibility that some class 465's will be transferring over to Southern. But then again, that's just from what I heard 🤷‍♂️

Its called progress of our railways Richard, they are nearly 40 years old and because new units are working in the south part of the country it allows movement of trains to other areas so they decided to scrap these units. The new trains that are being delivered in this country don't have comfy seats.
