this is very saddening news..... I'm going to miss this block. it just started back in May 31st 2024. and now it's getting canned so soon.

And the sad thing is..... I just saw the last batch of episodes of dragon ball z kai today. and toonami rewind signed off, one more time.... all I can say is, goodbye toonami rewind....... I'll miss you very much....

and with toonami rewind gone, checkered past is getting the Friday slot back. but here's the thing, checkered past will be airing from 5- 6 p.m. from now on starting from early 2025. speaking of which, Toonami rewind's closure and checkered past's shortened schedule coincide are likely because adult swim has reaquired the rights to air family guy again. which will be airing back on the adult swim screens next year.

@@amaniwhite9622 yeah, because Family Guy is going to have a big chunk of adult swim. I feel like if you're getting rid of one nostalgic block you shouldn't shorten the other.
