Thank you for the video. My husband and I got married there on 07-07-07, we are both sad it's being demolished. We showed our children the video today. We had our wedding dinner at the steak house you showed and watched our first comedy show as a married couple at the laugh factory. Thank you again!!!

Great video! I wish they would build the ballpark south where there's undeveloped land. Then it would be away from the main part of the strip. Traffic is crazy enough. Just imagine a baseball game and football game in Vegas on the same day.

In the 1980’s when Las Vegas had game shows taped some episodes in a few casinos, “Las Vegas Gambit” was taped at the Tropicana for one season. Imagine Blackjack as a quiz show element with couples (or “Catch 21” for married folks). Murray Sawchuck, aka “Murray the Magician” was on “Pawn Stars” for magic props needing appraisal. Gallagher (RIP) was a classic, and we will miss the Tropicana.

You've come a long way Norma!! I'm a longtime fan and frequent Vegas visitor. As I was watching this segment, I thought to myself, "How far has Norma's adventures taken her?" So, I went back to one of the original episodes, when you toured the Strip during Covid. WOW, your journey has been well chronicled, and your talents and skill have bloomed! Best part of the whole vid was your 'friends' the ducks...good luck seeing them today! Just like Vegas, Norma Geli's YT is continuously evolving into one of the premier places to go for fun, excitement, and so much more. Keep up the great work. Amazing work ethic, over 500 clips/shorts/adventures.... If you ever come to Hawaii, hit me up, been here for over 50 years and have been in the visitor industry for a bunch of them. PS. My favorite parts are usually the blooper reels, when they are on!!! Good to stay humble.

Hi Norma! My family and I stayed at the Tropicana back in July 2022 and we had such a great time. A few things could have been a little better with the room but all in all it was such a great day and everyone was so nice. Thank you for taking the time to do this video of the Tropicana. My husband will be in Vegas this Monday, March 4th and I will be there on the 7th. So I'm going to try and talk him into taking a tour into the Tropicana one last time before it's gone forever. It's sad to see all of these classic hotels being demolished. Thank you for bringing back such great memories for me from our stay in 2022. We had a limousine driver that had picked us up from the Tropicana our first evening there and we went to the Graceland wedding chapel and renewed our vows after 15 years. So that definitely was very special trip for us. Thank you again for sharing and hoping to run into you while I'm in Vegas!

It would be great if the stadium didn't have a roof and had the heart of the Vegas strip as a backdrop overlooking the outfield. Night games would look really cool! The heat would make it absolutely impractible though.

Norma, it's great that you mentioned Murray the Magician a couple of times. I attended his show back in 2022, and it was a blast! He does a funny shtick where he requests someone from the audience to give him their left shoe. So, I was the guy that volunteered, and after I threw it up to him on stage, he looked at it, told me how cool it was, then he tossed it to the side off stage and continued on to another bit. Then he threw it back to me at the end of the show. Hilarious and brilliant man. Worth every penny! 😄

My first trip to Vegas I stayed at the Trop, probably 30+ years ago. Saw some really good shows there as well, including Bob Newhart doing stand-up (& Folies Bergere). Everytime the elevator opened you got - 'Welcome to the Tropicana, where players win and winners play'. And yes, they had mirrors over the beds & an awesome pool area.. When you used to walk in the front they had a huge lounge area w/live music going all the time where you could have a drink and hang out...for free !.

Hi Norma. Thanks for the what will be one of the historical views of the Tropicana. Last time I was in Vegas, got a chance to see Folies Bergere. Here in the US, we don't keep and maintain the old. We tear down to build a new. In 50 years, maybe they'll tear down the stadium to rebuild a Tropicana hotel, again, on the site, if Vegas is still around.

I 've stayed at The Tropicana a few times over the years. One time I stayed in one of those bungalows next to the pool, and it was fantastic. It will be interesting to see a ballpark on the strip and also see The Tropicana missing from that corner. I wonder how the traffic will be in that area for the next four years. I guess The Tropicana could be called Yesterdayland at Disney after Dark. Thanks for the final look around this Las Vegas gem. Great job Norma!! 🌠
