Goodbye Zack and Lisa😣🥺😢😫 (Description box)

Ok so where do I begin. First off, I would like to state that this “couple,” and I’m not just talking about a couple of friends, but this “couple” that were never really a couple were unjustly ROBBED! Ok now that I got that off my chest I just want to say, that these months with these two were really nice and special. I could say they were the superior ship to all of my other ships in my lifetime. They hit differently that those other ships couldn’t even do. They were IT!!!!! I don’t care if it was 30 years ago and I don’t care if it was a sitcom made for kids, the writers done them dirty. I mean it really breaks my heart to see what the writers did to them, left their story unfinished, untouched, like it never even happened. THEY WERE THE ONLY REASON AND MOTIVE TO WATCH THIS OLD TV SHOW DURING THE QUARANTINE. JUST ONLY FOR THEM. NO ONE ELSE. I REALLY THOUGHT THEY WERE NEWLY MARRIED BASED OFF A CLIP I HAD WATCHED OF THEM BEFORE GETTING INTO THE SHOW. You can imagine the disappointment that I had felt when I did watch the show, just to see these two not even become a couple ONCE. And also, the bayside triangle doesn’t count. I wouldn’t even get started with the writers but another time I would address them. They DESERVE a continuation story like never before where they finally get to be together and I believe in some alternative universe, they somehow found each other and created a family, living together. Just making the ending, last chorus for this edit really made me emotional and upset how the writers and the show itself waisted such PERFECTION, such POTENTIAL on two fictional characters on the show. Like how could they. Was it because Zack and Lisa were ahead of it’s time for them to know or were they blinded by the fact that these two really had the most chemistry on the show. The world made never know 🤦🏽‍♀️. Anyways, I hope it didn’t have anything to do with race, which judging by the time period it was created in, it could be a possibility but seriously anyways they deserved all the endgame in the world, literal soulmates who couldn’t end up together. They got that two way package, meaning they work great as friends and great as lovers. They did that. I could go on and on talking about these two but all things have to come to a conclusion.
P.s-When I said goodbye Zack and Lisa for the title I mean that I’m eventually going to have to let them go😢🥺. Knowing how badly the show treated them, I can’t even continue going on with them or the show unless I take them out of the show and recreate their story, that’s what fan fiction are for😁. But that also mean I won’t make any more edits with them. I really enjoy, spending time making these and I find it to be really fun!!!! It’s also really nice to see a lot of supporters of them, it feels good 😌

You can see the connection between them was REAL, and not just acting ! You could not hide the chemistry between those two ! The long touches, the reluctance to stop their love scenes, the eye contact when they were in a group together. All very hard to hide. I heard many times they were caught on the set, french kissing in a hidden corner, or behind scenery when they thought no one was around. I'll bet Mark regrets not marrying her every day of his life !

The Saved by the Bell Story Tells A Little Bit About Lark Voorhies and Mark Paul from the beginning She Was Dating Him and He Was Her Boyfriend But With A Hit TV Show I think Peter Engell and producers were to busy being worried about Ratings I Felt They Lied about the relationship between Zack and Kelly Tiffany' was dating someone else but they played it up with the relationship between Zack and Kelly Mark Paul and Lark should have gotten together because they were an actual couple!

I guess it would have gave certain young girl too much of self confidence boost and pride of the beauty within themselves. If it had been know that the star of the show Mark, really wanted Lark. That coupling may have ended up getting the show cancelled. 'Murika was not ready for that, and that's pretty sad.

Yeah true, didn't think of that. I guess the moneymakers (i.e.the execs, nbc etc) felt like most of SBTB's and particularly Zack/Mark's fanbase were white females, so to see the stud of the show going for someone who doesn't look like them would trigger them and therefore lead them to ultimately boycott the show which is just so... ugh. So of course they stuck to the standard formula unfortunately.

They had amazing chemistry end it worked perfectly together but it sad that Zack ended up with Kelly the pretty girl. Lisa was so perfect for him and The way Zack looked at Lisa was beautiful

@@pimpnamedslickback7780 Lisa was gorg and she rocked. I was not a fan of Kelly's looks but i have to admit she was the perfect poster girl of that era. The adults had Cindy Crawford and the teens had Kelly K. Also she wasn't too sophisticated, with her big hair and beach-volley vibes, denim shorts and crop tops, which were considered very appealing to mainstream boys at the time. I think today a sophisticated girl would be more successful in a show but back in the day, it was more about looking sporty, cool, hairy than gorgeous and dressed to impress like Lisa. Alyssa Milano, who was another poster girl of that era and whom i found way better looking than KellyK, also had that sporty, cool, hairy vibe. Appealing and not threatening to boys. And the irony of it all is that Lark was more of an athlete irl than Tiffani, but she was presented as high-maintenance, so i doubt the audience saw her that way despite the episodes where she demonstrated her skills. But yeah LisaxZack forever!

For a tv couple, Kelly was the safe choice. They were never gonna pair Zack, the star of the show, with Lisa, a black girl. It was an unrealistic expectation that I was maybe too young to realize or understand at the time. Now I understand how Hollywood works.

Sadly the writers never followed up on the story And there were no additional episodes to continue or end the relationship. Unless the reboot addresses it, we’re left hanging.

@@choppedandcruised My understanding is the network received so much hate mail about the pairing that they dropped the storyline and it was never mentioned on the show again. It was a one episode fling I guess. I remember being confused that there was only one episode and the relationship was never brought up again as a kid.
