Shawn and Angela were the perfect couple I used to like them even more than the main couple. Finding out now what happened on set with the other actors & no one but Shawn’s actor really defending her. I truly believe the writers just couldn’t let an interracial relationship be end game. Same with Zack & Lisa, Lisa always put him in his place & they had a million more times chemistry than Kelly & him.

Mark-Paul still talks very beautifully of Lark to this day on his podcast Zach to the Future. She is even appearing on the season two of the Saved By The Bell Reboot. They were such a cute real life and on-screen couple.

Shawn and Angela were fire. 😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Zack and Lisa were never really officially a couple (outside of one episode). I think Shawn & Angela were able to happen because Shawn was not the main character, but the best friend/supporting character. Zack Morris was the star of his show. They were never gonna pair him with Lisa. Interestingly even the actor who plays Zack Morris has said several times on his podcast that he would've liked to see Zack with Lisa and that he doesn't see the chemistry and is uninterested in Zack and Kelly. For a tv couple, Kelly was the safe choice. We were robbed of a Zack/Lisa pairing, including the actors.
