Let this be a lesson to everyone. If you're in a potentially dangerous situation, and the other guy leaves still obviously pissed off, you wait a bit and then you get the hell out of there. Just because somebody leaves doesn't mean they can't come back with a gun ready to take you out. Withdraw and avoid the danger.

This was one of my all time favorite movies when I was little, me and brother used to react this movie and all the Scorsese movies with our toys with alternate versions lol. We stayed in the room for hours going crazy, I'm a actor. I talk just like Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci . We played those scenes like real movies, we're beat boxers too, we beat boxed all the music, 😮😮. It sounds almost JUST like real music, I've been told I sound like a radio before. Lol, I know ain't nobody on earth ever did or heard no spit like that, I'm different as fudge, my childhood was different as fudge. I gotta get to Robert De Niro level,ALMOST to it. I only wanna a lot black mob movies, I wanna do a MOSY movies about other types of CRIMINALS, dive deep into their stories . I'mma legend for real, and I know how to write and direct. "
@davidnetterwald1846
@davidnetterwald1846 8 ай бұрын
This scene right here shows how unpredictable and dangerous mob life is. Because one second you’re laughing and every thing seems fine but in the next second someone says the wrong thing to the wrong guy and in that split second moment it could mean the difference between life and death. The tension in that scene slowly builds when Billy is busting Tommy’s chops about once being a shoeshine boy. Then it comes to a point where the tension subsides when Billy apologizes but then it explodes when Billy insults Tommy again. Tommy without realizing it in the moment not only decides to end Billy’s life but his own. That is what being in that life entails any decision that you make no matter how innocuous it seems could result in getting you killed .

"Facts. All of them gambled with they lives and souls. But the Bible says, no matter how far a man digs into hell, GOD will reach down and take him out. GOD had His mercy and pity on them because of this lifestyle. He knew that they were imperfect weak beings, making mistakes, which don't make us mistakes or worthless. Had ANY of them quit while they were still ahead, they would have became redeemed Christians with outstanding testimonies. Especially Tommy, the worse of the bunch. GOD gave him enough time to repent in his 28 years, but once he decided in his mind and heart, he would keep on living and killing, GOD was through. He took His mercy away. That's how GOD works. The mafia is a cursed way of life . All who indulge, bound themselves by a curse and only JESUS can break it. GOD'S love is for all, but we ALL HAVE CHOICES. Either Heaven or Hell, life or death. "

You can tell from this scene that both of them didn't really see eye to eye in the past, and Billy must have been a bully back in the days when Tommy was shining shoes. Now Billy has seen Tommy doing better in life. A bit of jealousy mixed with the power of being made just caused him to be disrespectful, where he couldn't handle how Tommy had changed and spoken to him. Powerful acting

I've always said this a perfect scene as to why Pesci won the Oscar. The totality of the film Tommy was a demon through and through, his every action was deplorable. In this scene he knew he made a catastrophic mistake and for a brief moment he was humanized and you actually felt genuinely bad for Tommy. The way he says "I didn't wanna get blood on your floor" will always stick with me. No one could deliver that line better than Pesci.
