Excellent start to the setup series. very detailed and it answers the how, why, when, where, and who of setup. All makes sense, at least, to me. Love the passion you have a coach. Cheers.

Keep the setup fresh on your mind, don’t take it for granted like I know you won’t 😎

Thanks coach! A masters class in setup is a great place to start the New Year! Thank you so much for the fantastic instruction and taking the time to go over such a critical component. Foundation is absolutely king! I hope people take this stuff to heart (and the grip) because if you don’t get this right you will forever be chasing your tail with swing tips that never address the root cause. Get this right now and play decent golf the rest of your life. Just do it and “verify” with a coach, friend, or video!

Well said, but many won't be engaged with setup as much as the sexy stuff, but duty bound to do it!

Strapped in for this series … whenever I play well, my mates always tell me it’s my (better) aim/set up … thank you a great drill to take to the range ..

I try to work hard to set up like this great video But their is a massive difference between most of us and tour pros that is rarely mentioned! most of us are right eye dominant,if we follow our natural instinct to look at the ball with our right eye it will lead to a poor open target tilted set up yet most tour pros are either freakishly left eye dominant or have trained the left eye to be equal! the only major winner i can think of that is obviously right eye dominant is David Duval and that Swedish woman

Couldn’t disagree with this eye dominance stance more Graham. Just to let you know.

@@GoodGolfCoaching PS i had this discussion a few years ago with your TV colleague Trey ( when he was just an enthusiastic kid at the range!) having poo pooed it he then admitted he was left eye dominant but blamed this for his poor putting!
@GoodGolfCoaching6 сағат бұрын
I disagree with you and Trey too then 😂😂

Stuart. What is the angle between arms hanging and club shaft roughly.
@GoodGolfCoaching17 сағат бұрын
Different for every club. Concentrate on shaft to spine. Hope that helps
