It’s been amazing how changing my grip has altered everything in my entire swing. I can’t thank you enough. It’s really helping and being able to focus on one or two things like weight shift and grip has made such a difference in my practising.

A good grip change can change the entire landscape for a golfer, super happy you feel this has happened Hammad.

Blimey mate! Innovator and not a replicator! Shocking good banter right there! The golfing world is way too full of "influencers" and it's only going to get worse. So good to see someone not cutting golf balls in half (cheeky Rick Shiels jab) and getting on with proper technique. Keep doing you Stewie! 💪💪🏆⛳️

I’ve been a picker for 30 years of golf. Since I’ve been watching your videos on low point control, I’m taking beaver tails out of the fairway and hitting it 10-12 yards farther. Great coaching my man.

Great content, thanks for discussing the MANY effective ways to approach swing physics. It’s less important to strive for the perfect, prototypical swing, and more important to find a swing that works for your own physique, and work on making it perfect for you. As a lifetime golfer/tinkerer, who often takes extended breaks, I’ve managed to consistently shoot low 80s for near 30 years, sometimes playing from the pro tee box, with abysmally inconsistent putting, while completely transforming my swing on 3 different occasions (think a spectrum from Furyk to Woods to Sergio). Point being, all of these swings, with vastly different steepness and wrist hinge metrics, can result in fantastic, consistent ball striking.

Keep doing you mate, it's so refreshing and actually provides a platform for people to actually learn. I swear 99% of KZbin channels are copying each other just for 'views' with no real value add. If I see another "drop the arms and bend the right elbow like a contortionist" I'll scream :D

Thank you Gareth, I’m loving this KZbin journey, so much I want to share give back and do it my way and not for quick tips and tricks. Thanks for your support my friend, Happy New Yeat.

Your way of explaining the components of a golf swing is "unique" ! I have watched for about 3 months now; you have given me more prospective on why and how to better understand what is needed to improve and I have begun too. I think the things that made the most improvement was GRIP pressure along with tension in the wrists / arm unit. This video has given me another thing to pay attention to. Shorten or lengthen the wrist set Thanks Happy New Year

Marvelous explanation of wrist set and how your swing path and angle of attack is affected by how much or little you have. 100k subscribers is achievable by years end. I’ll do what I can to help boost subscribers. Wonderful to hear that your inspiration comes from elsewhere than YT. Again, Happy New Year 🎊🎆 Cheers

I made a comment on a previous video of yours, which pointed out a similarity in what you and Mike Malaska say about hand path and how that influences the club path. My point was, if 2 great coaches indicate the same thing we shoulld pay attention. Having just watched this video, I've been made to think a bit more about how to use coaching content. You were right to point out you aren't copying from anyone else, and I meant no offence when I made my comments before. Happy new year to you, and everyone.

Big reason i watch your great videos is im attempting to teach my enthusiastic golfing GF, she has great movement! but im struggling with her steering non release action through the ball, like when im hitting long low shots but im strong! I think its cos shes obsessed with hitting it straight or she struggles to get heel of left hand on top of grip ie she sets wrists then hangs on to it or tries to thump it at impact, i would have thought women would be over wristy not seal clubbers!

You've already made it very clear that the only critical equation in golf is the hands and golf grip connection!! Everything else is a reaction to that. So really just starting with the feet together and using the L to L swing drill with that left hand only drill you highlighted, whilst gradually widening your stance to normal will train the rest of the body to react correctly and naturally to the hand/grip relationship. Its just plain and simple muscle memory training which just takes adequate practice.

There is no question I can hit irons straight. But there is also no question I'm not taking advantage of (at least not enough) wrist set. I am consistently dead at the pin, but short, even though I am pretty sure I have "enough club".
