Sent here from the forearm rotation video. Great stuff. I also watched the lorry video. We call them tractor trailers in the states so it made sense when I saw the truck 😂. I see that video in here from the red band. Man this is great teaching. The breakdown of what is happening in the swing are top notch!

Years ago I saw Henrik Stenson doing a hands push down drill like the blue band drill. Tried it and for a while it helped. Now that I know the likely reason it helped I can actually use it intelligently. Thank you so much.

Thanks Stuart, I will. I’ve always been an inside out, flipper but have gotten away with it. I tried the grip you recommended but hooked it even more. I’m working with a band and kegs but not sure about the direction of pull. Is it toward the ball, the target line or the target? I’ll be in touch and big thanks for responding, and so quickly.

Watch my power at impact video, learn how to unload the golf club with the grip, it will deliver, I promise. As for pulling; out towards the ball line. Hopefully you’ve seen the broom series for more insight ?

I’m trying really hard to practice and execute these techniques but I’m hooking the ball so badly now I feel like giving up golf. I’m down from 22 handicap to 11.4 in the last year but now I’m probably struggling to play at 25. Heeeeeelp!

@@GoodGolfCoachingI’ll bet you spent considerable time in your early days of learning and playing golf, listening and learning only to wonder “why this doesn’t seem quite right”. Appears you have taken in lots of information, sorted thru and refined concepts that are more relevant and productive for golf improvement and high level performance. Thanks for offering those insights for all to see and experience. Now the doubters and debaters begin…or Yes but.

Thank you so much for your videos, I'm picking up the game again after 20+ years of not playing. I tried your instruction of pulling the club on the downswing however I'm noticing that the club path at the bottom is finishing behind the ball on a lot of shots and often hitting it 'fat'. Is this a problem with body rotation? Keep up the great videos!

Enjoy you content and your teaching style. Have you looked into the forces/torques that Dr Stephen Nesbit has described? I think it might change your mind about the direction the hand path takes on the downswing. The force vector is more in the direction of pulling an arrow out of the quiver along the line of the shaft. Thoughts?

Hi Anthony - I’ve not seen the info you’ve referenced, will of course take a look. I apply what my experience and knowledge acquired over the past 25 years but of course, open to peoples thoughts, I will look and report back. Thank you! 🙌

So your always pushing down with the blue band. And keep that pressure. But on way down pull out and down to the ball. Your always pressuring down to keep the clubhead up. And out away from the body. So hence you never get stuck

Amen sir, you’ve nailed it. Stuck is a release of pressure no more no less. Best wishes Stu 😊

Thank you! I think this is digital gold and the digestion of so much education. Pressure all throughout. Im confused, How do i push forward but keep grip pressure light per your videos? You mention grip but not getting how. Should my left hand have stronger pressure but right hand is the light grip?
@GoodGolfCoaching

Sofia, you pull forward from the top and push down. Think about your finger tips being light to grip pressure in a good window. Best wishes Stu 😊

So you do rotate your forearms/wrists in the backswing?

Bet I'm missing something. At 9:57, your left arm is at around 45° to the floor. In your real swings, is it not closer to 90°?

Hi Stu, really appreciated your videos and your instruction has helped me a lot. I have been doing the Thera Band drills, however i have a genuine question regarding hand path that would seem at odds with your teaching. Something I don't understand is that when viewing Pro swings in Gears 3D, it would appear that the hands do not in fact move out towards the ball/target line as you describe. Refer the 9:50 mark in this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3i6ZGCQZpp0pqs As explained, it's a genuine question as an interested student of the game and I'm in no way cross promoting. Just figured this was the best way to pose the question as Gears shows exactly what happens in the swing.

Robert, I always welcome questions my friend and appreciate your video share. The force to the floor is stronger than the force forward, as demonstrated by many red Theraband drill in the video you have watched of mine. This is a huge topic, but I can assure, the golfer will be pulling out toward the ball and not down; I have done a video, “What happens next” - here’s the link. A must watch Sir… kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3mmYnRuiN-CiZosi=OadJpqvnz46akK1r - let me know your thoughts. Best wishes Stu

Thanks Stu. Checked out your recommended video which I had viewed before. Took it to the range and have to report back it worked out seriously well hitting nice baby draws. I also noted that a some comments mentioned that Bradley Hughes was teaching the same a few years ago so being an Aussie checked out his videos so you might like to have a look. The only problem I had with it was the odd shank which scares me a bit. Could I be pulling out towards the ball too much and/or not rotating forearms enough to the follow through? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
