Hey Gavin, just wanted to let everybody knows that the brugi fw is working. Resoldered my pitch connection but come to find out the motor was bad. Replaced motor now all is working. Thanks again for putting this tutorial out. CHEERS!!!

On mine it's 2 wires with a 3 pin connector. That goes to the channel you want to use for tilt. I put mine on a 3 position switch, mid position holds it in one place and either side pans until you go back to center. It helps to change the switch speed down so that the camera pans slowly.

I think the 3 pin connector you're talking about is for the Pitch motor override. Use a spare channel to alter the pitch of the camera in flight. You might have to move the wires to A1 (signal) and GND. You might not need to connect the 3rd wire (+5v) if you're using the same lipo to power the receiver and gimbal.

Hi, i had the same problem with one of my friend's gimbal. To solve it it's really easy, you just have to reflash the bootloader ;)

I followed the instructions you posted and it now holds the camera really solid and it's far smoother than my servo controlled gimbal. However, there is a high pitched humming noise, it isn't very loud but enough to be really annoying and concerning. I don't want to burn a motor out.

Gavin, you using stock gimbal motors from goodluckbuy or you replaced them? My board seems to be working fine but the tilt is really pitchy. Tried all possible combo PID still shaky. Can you list your tilt PID please. I appreciate it. Thanks for the very informative video and instructions.

Motor will not burn out - you can change the motor frequency to stop that high pitch noise - can't remember where on the GUI you have to click though, sorry

I had to desolder the Pitch control wires from my board because they appeared to be in the wrong place. I resolder the signal wire from the receiver channel used for camera pitch, to A1 and receiver GND to GND on the board (A1 & GND are marked on the edge of the gimbal controller board) hope that helps, matey

Yeah it's not bad is it, for default settings. There is some oscillation if you slow the video playback down, but miles better than my old servo gimbal. :-) There is still loads of room for improvement on the setup and software side of things. All good fun I suppose :-/

programming a brushless gimbal will consume your life. You will lose sight of your family and friends, you will lose your job, eventually become a brushless gimbal burnout and then, it's off to brushless gimbal rehab. Acceptance is the first step towards recovery.

I was thinking to buy one of these, but now...WAW....what a nightmare to install ! I'm not technical at that level. The video is nice though and just as nice as the videos with Zenmuse and others at 3 to 8 times the price. But I was hoping the GoodLuckBuy Gimbal was plug & play. Doesn't' seem to be the case !

Hey, so on my good luck buy gimbal (2 axis; roll, pitch) whenever i turn left or right (yaw) with my quadcopter the gimbal starts to roll in one direction but when i go back to the way i started its normal. anyone know how to fix?
