Well fucking said GMW Epic commentary. Will damn sure see Jim back in the WWE/F again one day. Your correct J.R is the greatest play by play wrestling announcer/commentater of all time and in a class by himself. So many moments this man called for us over the years in the Pro Wrestling Business. I would love too meet this guy one day and hear stories of the business from him. Thank You Jim Ross

Jim Ross defended Flair by basically saying that flair is still getting over his son dying and that reid was rick's life, that he wanted to help reid with his drug problems.

its not because of mentioning TNA, its because he brought attention to another young death (his son) and WWE has been distancing themselves from all deaths, esp. the younger ones since the benoit tragedy. Secondly, he made their superhero cena look weak by telling everyone he is now an alcoholic.

On this issue I support WWE, It seems a lot of fans are getting pissy because they think WWE is being to uptight, but the reality is those guys where there to do a job for the WWE and instead they got drunk. In any other profession people would be fired for getting drunk while on the company clock to do a job. A newsanchor, Cop, or some corporate saleman making a sale if any of these people got drunk people would expect them to be fired. That said JR is the man and I wish him the well.

They wanted JR to be a babysitter but you can't babysit grown men.

did anyone every think that there is a small possibility that the firing of JR could be a work with the whole HHH firing and HHH era where they publicly stated they are trying to blur the lines between fantasy and reality. If austin is going to make a comback and fight at WM for team WWE.. wouldnt it make sense for austin to bring back JR as well? just a thought like i said im not saying this will happen but ... perhaps?

ROFL. WWE raped Jim Ross for his entire WWE run, fired the damn man like three times, humiliated him at every turn and fired him over Flair fucking around. Scapegoat, anyone?

See what Ive been hearing is Foley and Flair were going off script and JR was trying to get them back on script. Foley kept thinking JR was fucking up and told him to ask Flair more questions and Flair kept bringing up his dead son and JR was trying to get them back on script but Flair didn't want to and it was making JR look heartless even though JR was just trying to do his job and from there shit was starting to hit the fan

Because Flair doesn't work for them and they needed someone to punish for the whole thing and obviously it was going to be JR. I think this is no different than when they dumped on HHH after the curtain call, he was the only one who could be used as the scapegoat. This situation sucks ass but I will agree with Ivan, you can't be irresponsible at work and get away with it, especially with how anal WWE is about their current public image. You can't have your greatest announcer drunk on a panel.

I agree with everything you said about JR and feel he did get screwed, just my opinion but I think he will be back sooner than later. I just cant believe all the people making excuses and giving Flair a pass, "Flair being Flair" wtf. Ric Flair is how damn old and he cant take the stage for two hours and do a job without getting wasted and highjacking the event. I don't give a fuck if people drink smoke whatever, but have some damn self control and Flair sure the fuck is old enough to know better
