I was raised eating umiboshi plums. Super salty! Super yang! They are great for digestion. They are mainly added to rice balls which is a ball of short grain brown rice with pieces of the plum throughout and wrapped in a toasted nori sheet. ( processed seaweed that wraps a lot of sushi rolls) I love them and my 18 month old daughter can't get enough.
