I only knew the Cecilio & Kapono version growing up in Hawaii. Then I actually read the composer listing on the album and went looking for the H&O recording on KZbin.

If you weren't around during the early 70's, you missed out on the beginnings of alot of great bands. When their music just seemed real. Before they discovered the recipe of making hit singles that could get them all the material things they wanted. Oh well.
