+Jack Torrance: In this case, it might be that the soldier is hallucinating and so the bullet that wounded him takes on the more benign form of an unused, intact cartridge. Or it could be that the filmmakers are ignorant of the relevant facts. You know, like people who don't know how to spell intact?
