No, those yellow character skill+ pieces of equipment are not very useful, all things considered. In my second playthrough of this game , I had 3 usable pieces of +3 to Card Shuffle by the time I reached Act 4. Unfortunately, getting a good set of equipment like that is a rarity. I've played a new game of this over 200 times , and I'd say I've gotten a really useful set of equipment about a dozen times. Sometimes I'll use them for playing around in a variation game, like I can only use my skill points matching the equipment. But always pick them up and either store them or sell them , because if you miss picking one up , they'll quit dropping altogether.
