Being perfectly honest, I didn't know who Grant and Kirran were until the Among Us streams got me into watching TFS gaming back in 2020, and both of them instantly rocketed up to being my favorites. Between Drunk Souls, Pokemon Nuzlockes, DinnerTime Gaming, and now GoodTimesZone, Grant and Kirran are really an amazing pair to watch/listen to.

Aw yeah I'm so glad you guys are playing this. I know Kirran loves/fears aliens so it will be a really fun time. It takes a bit to really get going but once it does it's a lot of fun. A couple things that might be helpful: You can actually clean your base. Get a sponge/mop/water bucket and start slapping them against dirty spots. You can also buy a trash can and trash bags to throw away all the debris sitting around. You can also decorate the base with a lot of fun stuff if you want. Your ATV has a break on it, which is why it's moving back and forth. Make sure to actually use that. It also has headlights that will help a lot at night. When you upgrade your signals you actually have to put them back into the cartridge. You can tell if it's loaded by the green light on the cartridge, and you can tell what level it is by the blue lights on it. If it is red is has nothing on it. You forgot to do it during the tutorial. Certain signals will also give messages/spooky stuff if you listen to them after upgrading them a lot so make sure to check that out before you send them off. Your ping device will note where your ATV and a few other things are. That's why there were a couple of blips in the base already at the start. The one far outside your base was probably an alien though. You can buy an upgrade that lets you differentiate between what your device is pinging so you can tell what is your stuff and what is an alien. There's a setting that lets you turn off penalties for not sending all the requested uploads in a given day. I'd recommend turning this off. It'll just be easier for the stream and content. And for a couple of fun things: Type "maxwell" (no quotes) into the console to spawn a fun cat friend somewhere in the world. He'll be kinda hard to find but if you hear funny music nearby then look around for him. Just don't pet him too much too quickly (or do because it'll be funny). Also type "alien" in the console for a fun little treat (may have to do it multiple times because it's a bit finicky after the latest update). Also try going to the bathroom at 3:33am for no particular reason.

I love how this game has gone beyond the Vargskelethor Joel of vinesauce community. The dev was inspired by Joel’s signal simulator streams to make this game after seeing how much people were in love with his signal simulator streams but that the game was abandoned and would, eventually run its course. This game has lots of little things that are made specifically for what Joel has said over the years would legitimately scare him. I think that’s why we have such prominent windows in this game. At least the sunroof being behind the station. Joel said that he will legitimately have his soul escape his body if he were to look at a window that was once clear and suddenly see something just standing there.

I don't know if this is the best game for vids. I think it's appeal is pretty narrow, even compared to other games they played like the handshaking one. I watch most of their videos 3-4 times as background noise while I work, but this one was hard to finish even while looking up occasionally because I was waiting for something to happen. Looked up how slow of a burn this game is, and it seems worse than watching someone grind in Pokemon. I think it's a better play than watch, so I can get behind the idea, but found myself skipping while watching the full record session
