While the main crux of this video is how to write goodwill messages, the key takeaway for me has been why we do so, if we can keep aware of the underlying theme and purpose of writing a goodwill message - i.e to establish/continue good relationships with business partners or customers, it can subconciously push us in going the extra mile and drafting a well structured goodwill message while we are at it. I love how the video covers the purpose just as well as how to write it.

The primary focus of this video is on writing goodwill messages; however, the most important lesson I learned was why we write goodwill messages in the first place. My view is that goodwill messages are more effective when they are individualized for the receiver since in the corporate world of today, goodwill messages are merely sent as a formality, i.e., they are generalized for recipients rather than personalized.

Good Will message helps to grow the relationship between the clients and employees. And it makes an impact on the client. But when you are on the receiving end, sometimes it gets really irritating when customers flood your inbox with messages.

I need further clarification on few points 1. that we must avoid using capital letters because they have negative implications. Will the reader see "HAPPY, CONGRATULATIONS..." as a negative message if we write those in capital letters 2. How a bad news messages enhances the goodwill of the company / business or a person?
