I'm from a smaller city in Canada, and there's one goodwill that rarely gets Nerf blasters. When they do get them and they work I pick them up, even if they're overpriced. Just feels nice to get something.

You should get a group together and do a Goodwill "draft" battle. Where you go around to goodwills and pick up everything that looks mildly interesting, then have the group decide what they want to use from the findings and run them in in a war against each other.

Even as anemic as this Goodwill Run might have been to some, there was a veritable treasure trove of blasters compared to what my local Goodwill stores have to offer. I don't know if Nerf isn't popular in my area, if people just keep their toys instead of donating them or if they just junk them. It's a mystery.

I am always disappointed by the lack of a Goodwill equivalent in Good Old Blighty. The nearest things we have are charity shops about the size of a 1 car garage. I went to 8 of them and only found 3 mavericks, I bought 2 of them.

The first time I was able to get over to the Tacoma area and do a Goodwill run. I was hoping to find maybe a nice primary and some form of rocket launcher and I found neither . Looks like you might have beat me to the only rocket launcher, depending on which Goodwill you got it at.. 😭 But I had a great time at the event, which is more important. 😁

Ive gone looked for nerf at a goodwill once, found one vortex blaster with no mag in it and nothing else, needless to say i didnt get anything.

I found out a thing! So, as an absolver/possible barrel for Rival Rounds/Balls, I found that 3/4 inch copper couplers fit the balls snug, but not tight, allowing air to push the balls out pretty darn well. If memory serves me right, you can get 3/4 inch couplers in 6 inch rubes as well. Possible idea for your Ire? EDIT: Eir! My deepest apologies.

Please do more goodwill runs 👍 I’m currently in the Dallas area thrifting and have found rareitys such as two Nitrons that worked as well as two sweet revenges with holsters and googles and also a bbb ( big bad bow. Also working) and to get to my point i think it’s fun to watch others succeed in finding rarity’s so keep it up! Ps.And do more goodwill runs!!

Collin, I'm in the north Texas area, I thrift on the Fort Worth side a lot. Dallas is slim pickings everytime I go, and I will drive the entire metroplex only to buy one or two blasters, so I feel ya. Everything is rare in Texas, I get lucky if I find a roughcut and a few times a stryfe or stampede. Rarist blasters I have thrifted have been an original purple hypersight big bad bow, a sonic green vigilon, a clear raider, a clear maverick, a clear vulcan, a zombie strike longshot, 4 stampedes(two had missing battery trays )two original recons with the orange ARMED plunger that sticks out, and last but not least, recently a near mint Marauder sword with the yellow/black trim.

Zombkilr86 well good for you but just because you found them dosent make them not rare.If you think about it the big bad bow is not currently in production and hasn’t been for almost 20 years so any that you find would be a rare find. But having one work is more rare because of its age. As for nitrons they were expensive at release so there was less made, as well as them notoriously not working well after a long time. And lastly the sweet revenge was the most popular rebelle blaster ever made and they didn’t make them long. I hope you can see what’s rare in my eyes from what I’ve said.

Captain Xavier That random Rebelle flip bow thing made me wonder... Are the cylinders in that interchangeable with the ones in the Hammershot and Sweet Revenge? (Those two have interchangeable cylinders, btw, if you didn't know; I like putting orange Hammershot cylinders into my Sweet Revenge blasters, so I can fully paint the shell and still have plenty of orange for safety.) I'm determined that at some point I'll find a way to make a revolver that can take speed loaders and still be effective... Once I do, I'll need a source for cylinders as the speed loaders. (Sadly, thus far I've just ruined the shells of half a dozen blasters with mods that seemed promising but were critically flawed in some way.)

Do you know of a specific cylinder that can be swapped directly into an Alphahawk? The Wife has a thing for revolvers and bolt-action rifles, and those loves combine to make the Alphahawk her current favorite blaster. (She has two with shoulder holsters and one on a sling as her core load-out, with a Hyperfire on a sling as a high-output secondary... She prefers to snipe. Like a boss. It's easy to get when uou know both of her parents are both retired Marines with *LOTS* of competitive shooting medals, lol.) If I could make speed loaders for it, I'd score some *MASSIVE* brownie points, lol.

In all types of media when people carry swords you almost always see them carried on thier back even though this is very impractical. But either way it looks cool. Sok I had man idea to embed small neodymium magnets into a nerf foam swords and wearing a small price of metal strapped to my back so then I would have a way to carry swords on my back and still use full and not all that cumbersome. Just an idea wanted to know your thoughts. #QNA/FANMAILFRIDAYS. Ps love everything you do.
