I visited a Goodwill Store recently where I could not believe the high prices that were like those in resale shops or on Etsy. It’s so disappointing when that happens.

It is! That’s why I like going to the goodwill outlets or other local thrift stores more as they still have lower prices. Hopefully the goodwill stores stop increasing their prices.

Such a bummer they wouldn’t sell it. But it’s okay. I got a bunch already, lol. That was my sign to stop buying brass candle sticks lol. Great minds think a like! You’re going to be so good with yours! I already know it!

Yeah, this thrift store was super high in price. Hopefully my thrift stores back home don’t go up too high yet. Otherwise, can’t be thrifting anymore.

Some stores have that policy because shoppers will remove the stickers hoping the person at the register will give them a lower price.

Thrift pricing has definitely gone up. I have found things that are even priced higher than retail. I've stopped going, it's no longer fun since the whole idea is to 'treasure hunt'. I was also finding things that had been broken and repaired once I brought them home. Too many disappointments killed it for me.

Thrifting is a hit and miss for sure. If you have a goodwill outlet near you, that would be a good one to visit as you pay by the pound instead of individual prices. But the downside is that you’ll have to dig for the items, if the outlet has them in bins. It’s fun but can be a little overwhelming.

Agree. Whether it be Vogue or another brand, it isn’t for everyone, but these brands do have great inspos from time to time.

Thrift Stores are nice for people who may not be able to buy regular retail. Buying, and selling for more money does not seem so nice

This store are too expensive now. Goodwill is now Bad-will since they refused to donate a pair of shoes to a homeless who had no shoes. Please stop donating to goodwill get yourself educated they don’t help anyone. They take advantage from special needs people.
