It’s always a pleasure when Jake joins you. He’s such a thoughtful and intelligent kid! And he was a huge help getting things into the cart when you were finding the ducks in the new bins/carts they brought out. He always has good finds, too! Loved the Tonala ducks. The huge one is amazing and will look stunning wherever you put it. I liked the Lladro puppy, too. I have several old, large pieces that had been my parents’. My father loved the movement and delicate expressions of certain styles and bought a couple for my mother as gifts. And she bought him a couple as well. They weren’t “figurine people” so I was mystified at the time and didn’t really like them much, though I did think they chose the best ones. Now I love them and see the beauty I missed 40-45 years ago! Love and pats to all the furry boys!

My lower jaw just hit the floor at the $4.99 price on that glass S curve sculpture!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that big blue vase might have been sold in Family Dollar when they first opened, they used to sell very nice decor. I have two vases with African motif and wooden cats with kittens, all with arched backs and tails in the air.

I just typed the same! It would have been $6.75 at my Richmond, VA Goodwills even if the pricing person didn’t know Lladro. Easily over $20 if they looked it up. Same with the Tonala planter. Easily $15.75. That’s their go to pricing on big things like that.

Tiffany, there is a small flea market on Boulder Highway on the weekends. It is small, but I have found some very profitable items there for less than $5. It's on the west side of Boulder Hwy. near Twain. Check it out some time! I found two Tonala birds there for $1 and $2. I got a mid century, acid green fat lava vase made in West Germany for $2. It sold for $139 on Etsy!!! Also a Quimper (France) wall pocket for a buck that I sold for $70. Happy hunting!!!
