I’ve been slacking it but I’ve got more coming! I like the tires so far but they are super noisy on the highway. I don’t recommend them just yet unless the noise calms down.

Where the Dynapros from factory recommended for 45 psi?

Thank you for the feedback! The dyna pros say 50 max psi cold pressure. I was using 42-45 usually cold psi. I have no complaints about those tires. They are very smooth off-road. I’m not 100% sold on the Goodyear’s yet.

Another great video! To get rid of the heavy feeling and more throttle response at low speeds you should look into getting a bully dog tuner to eliminate the factory setting of reduced throttle at lower speeds. It makes a difference on our 4.0s!

Great review bud!! We're running goodyear trailmark 265/70/16 and they hook great in the dirt but have a tendency to pick up pokey things and one cut tread that lead to a fast flat. All under warranty though so we've kept them longer than planned. I'd like to go km3 eventually. Very aggressive and from what I've seen great mileage on and Offroad.

how tall do they measure out to be? looking to get this same size for my bronco

It’s probably around 31.6 inches but I haven’t measured them exactly. I go by the recommended size of 265/75 16. Your bronco might have 17s or 18s.

It’s a good tire man I have the E tire and I’ve never had a flat. I’ve pulled out 1 inch screws. I think I might try the C tire next time for a smoother ride.

@@desertdudechannel Yeah I was thinking probably the C if the store has that because of smoother ride as well as lower weight. The other one I was looking at was the bfg trail terrain as that one would be a better 4 season tire in canada but it definately wouldn't look as nice as the duratrac

Man I’m seriously considering the trail terrain. They look super good on the new bronco!!! I would love to try them out. I’m at about 70,000 on my old tires….. it’s definitely time for new ones. I’m so confident with my duratracs as far as flat prevention but those trail terrains are calling me. Honestly you can’t go wrong either way. If you do a lot of sharp rocks and nails I recommend the E model but if your rocks are smooth the C will ride much better than mine and save a ton of weight.

You should be running around 20-25 psi. Bigger footprint. You wont dig into the sand as much. You will have much better traction, and a softer ride.

I run 20psi mostly. It just sucks to air down and refill when you’re in a hurry to make a video. With 20psi I can pretty much go everywhere in 2WD

265 75 16. Stock size. Man don’t put bigger tires. You cannot run bigger ones and you don’t really need too because it will ruin the gas mileage and handling of the truck. Plus it will rub and pull your wheel well plastics off. I have the stock wheels. Everything is stock on the truck.

Thanks next we will hit the rocks. Well I had the bfg ko2 before the goodyears. They are good too but they would not balance properly. They are the gold standard in off-road from what I’ve read. Honesty I feel the bfg and duratracs are too stiff for v6 trucks including the raptor. I’m going to be doing a longer review next time to explain.

@@desertdudechannel Gold standard indeed if you read other reviews. Were they rough ridding at the stock 35psi? We own a 2019 PRO4X that we use to tow an off-road teardrop and were hoping to up-grade the tires - and the suspension

Yeah the k02 are very stiff even at 35psi as the Goodyear’s are. I would recommend the tires if you tow for safety though. The 2019 was a good buy lucky you got one.

@@desertdudechannel Thanks - We were lucky to get a PRO4x in a king cab - with the longer bed and a Lear toper, it makes a great overland rig we could sleep in. Now I have to lift the rear as the tongue weight of the trailer pusses too far down. OME or All dogs 2" lift with heavy duty springs to replace stock.

You’re not worried how it will handle once you unload the trailer? How bad does it squat down? I still would like to get a teardrop. If the channel keeps growing I’ll get more ko2 tires. Unfortunately I did not make any videos when I had those tires

Just got a set of Goodyear wrangler authority lt265 70 17 with road hazard lifetime rotation for 600 dollars! And they are 3peak snow rated tires at tires that look like mt tires! Goodyear makes them only for Walmart.

I went through 2 sets of the hankooks. I loved them but got too many flats off-roading but I think most people will be perfectly fine with them. The hankooks weigh 38 pounds each and the Goodyear’s weigh 50 each. You can definitely feel the weight. I like how the Goodyear’s look though and they steer real good. One downside.... it’s easier to get stuck with the Goodyear’s than the hankooks I know shocking

For the suspension are you running off-road shocks or are you just running a rough country spacer or is it on stock suspension?

Completely stock bilsteins on stock height. I honestly have no reason to use spacers or lift kits. Most of those kits are just to impress people with the looks. At the end of the day it lowers the trucks resale value and makes it handle worse than stock. The pro4x handles much better off-road stock that my se4x4 stock.
