Thanks for this video. We’ll be hitting Pickett’s in about 10 days. Really appreciate you clearing the trail!

Thank you for making this. If you don’t mind how much traffic from four wheelers and side by sides and stuff are there on any given day do think there is. I am headed up dirt bike if in a few days and want to know what I should expect

@@Blade_and_barrel sorry for late reply, I was out in Nevada desert for last 5 days… there’s not much traffic generally, way less now that we’re off-season and weekdays should be pretty slow anytime. Also good sightlines in most places to avoid conflicts

Nice video thanks for sharing! What time of day did you head up there? How much traffic did you encounter? Did you guys end up going down to the lake on Burnside rd?
@GoofingAroundBraptor6 ай бұрын
@@hassankaous5241 we met at Picketts Junction (88/89) dirt lot at 10 am. We finished around 3, but that included carefully removing two downed trees and a lot of hanging out enjoying the views. Not sure what traffic you’re interested in. Traffic was heavier than usual due to it being the start of 4th of July week. But flowed smoothly at 7ish when I left Sac, I arrived way early. Traffic on the trail was nonexistent. Ran into one or two other trucks and two pairs of ATVs all day on the trail. We passed on Burnside lake. It’s a nice enough lake but some had other commitments and others went with me to go do a little more technical wheeling in another spot. Hope this helps!

I wants to go there. Is it open to the public or is that private land?
@GoofingAroundBraptor6 ай бұрын
All public land, easy to get to from South Lake Tahoe

How have you found the width to be on the trails?
@GoofingAroundBraptor5 ай бұрын
@@extspence I haven’t found it to be a problem so far for trails in California. That said, I’m not too fussed about getting my flares pinstriped and I have ppf on all painted surfaces. Occasionally I’ve got to make a three, four or five point turn, but the Raptors turning radius is pretty tight and trail turn assist can make tight trees and switchbacks a breeze on the right surface.

@@GoofingAroundBraptor Good to hear, I have a 2023 Braptor and looking to take it to Colorado. Some of the trails I know are to tight but have not tried it yet.
