Great video and tips, thank you. A question, can I embed a KZbin video on the landing page? Is it going to count as conversion when people click to watch it?

Yes you can embed a KZbin Video on a landing page! As for conversions, you can set it up so that a video play is counted as a conversion. You would do that in Google Analytics (GA4). It's a little more advanced, but definitely can be done.

This is a random question but I was curious if you’d be able to give me some insight 1. Can we do search ad re marketing campaigns with google ad grants? 2. What if our keywords are volume 0 and we’ve had to kind of work around to more generic terms such as “charities to donate to” … and it’s almost a bit out of context for the full message we want to say. Or should we just shove it in there regardless Thanks

Great questions. For Remarketing - Because the grant is only for text based search ads, remarketing doesn't really make sense. But we have clients who get traffic onto their site through text ads with the grant and then remarket to them in a paid ads account on youtube or the display network. So in short, the grant can be a tool for remarketing, but you would need a paid account too. For the Keyword questions - If you dig into keyword research, if you have a nonprofit that people actually need, there are always keywords that people are searching for. It usually isn't the most obvious choice. For instance with churches, there isn't enough volume for "Baptist Churches" or "Methodist Churches". But if we target topic that align with their ministries, we can see some results.

So essentially the best results for grants that you’ve seen have not come from re marketing using search ads but instead YT or display ads… I also wanted to ask: 1. do you recommend using google tag manager even if were only focused on search ads at the moment? Especially for conversion tracking or is indifferent but just makes things easier? 2. Is it incorrect for a landing page to be part of a website or should completely it stand alone? 3. Is there a minimum amount of keywords we should look to have on those landing pages? It would be awesome if you guys ever considered making some videos on remarking and conversion tracking (I didn’t find it atleast)

Great Questions! 1. Yes, Tag Manager is a great tool! 2. The landing page should always be a part of your website. It is a unique page for a specific set of related keywords. 3. You don't want to stuff those landing pages with keywords. As a general rule, pages with 600 words of content tend to rank better. You can use a tool like Surfer SEO to audit the text on your landing page and then optimize. Thanks for the video recommendation too! We are looking at some of those topics.

@@reachright thank you very much. I just launched my first campaign with two ad groups however, within the span of 24 hours, we have only gotten two impressions and one click through. I am unsure if perhaps it’s someone from our team… I used about 10 to 15 keywords with an OK search volume per month as best as I could do … is it normal for traction to be so slow? Also, I typed in the keyword for the business organization name (which has a fair volume per month) and our ad did not show at all for the search term… why might that be? Is it okay to check other keywords or what is the best way to make sure everything is working correctly? Thank you
