Thank you for sharing! Very helpful. We are a Wellness Center and we have a natural complementary protocol for cancer patients. So, I'm having a hard time with video ad... I've started working for them less than a month. This is what I get: ""Health in personalized advertising"" With google search is not a problem, but when it comes to video ad, I have not been successful yet. I tried fixing, and did another one, but still. One was just an invitation to an Webinar. I did not see a problem. We were not saying "hey, if you have cancer... come.." We just shared the statistics and then an invitation to register, but it did not run (although it was appoved). Do you have any suggestion regarding video ads concerning cancer... or even promoting videos that talks about cancer, and other diseases? Thank you!!!!

How do you set up this chat? And then set up the google ads and conversions as chat... what are the steps?

It depends on the chat tool you use. I like LiveChatInc and ManyChat (although there are thousands). When you choose a tool they should help you setup conversion tracking. Just make sure it's available before buying :-)

Sorry to hear... Our ads are also going through a similar scenario for our GP private practice. They get disapproved due to a prescription drug policy, even though we do not even mention a single pharma or medication name in our site or ads. Its super annoying.

Its worth getting some legal perspective on this but HIPPA compliance is required for companies and individuals that deal with PHI and all their associates, so the answer is likely a "yes" if your client is in the healthcare space. Hey guys! Firstly, bald wins every day of the week. Secondly, thanks heaps for the video, there were so many nuggets in there. I have been trying work through any remarketing possibilities, including the custom segment idea using visitors to competitor websites. I'm thinking keywords that don't specifically say 'pain' as well, like [body part] rather than [body part pain]. If this isn't compliant, is it going to just be disallowed or am I risking being suspended? Any experiences on something like this scenario? Cheers, Russ

Hi Russ! It is definitely possible that if those keywords are in your ad copy or images you could get disapproved or even suspended. But with targeting in a custom audience it should be fine. Just be aware when you are targeting custom URLs in Google actually you are not just targeting them specifically you are targeting web sites similar to those ones.

What a great video! But did you find a solution? I also have a physician client who's a medical dermatologist. She does Superficial Radiation Therapy for non-melanoma skin cancer in addition to basic cosmetic fillers like the B#%OX. I'm trying to figure out how to get her ads approved as well.

I keep getting "Speculative and Experimental Medical Treatment" Policy Violation for a responsive search ad even though the client is an actual legit doctor's office. Is there a way to get verified so this doesn't happen? Right now, we're limited to call ads with very limited keywords and can't link directly to the clinic's website. We can only link to the scheduling landing page. Any way to get around this? Thanks!

Maybe too little too late but I learned you CANNOT use words like "treatment", "relief", "remedy", etc. What I ended up doing was using symptoms in my headlines and descriptions instead by asking questions- "Does Your Back Hurt?", "Burning Or Tingling Feet?", and so on and so on. Then I used actual "treatment" type keywords and got that has worked for over two years.

@@solutionseight LOVE THIS SO MUCH! So first, it was epic. I was thoroughly surprised by chat. That’s something we haven’t even considered because I’m managing website, social, video production and content creation, SEO and now Google Ads. So my time is stretched thin. We have TWO people in our department right now. But I see the value in it, and this is going to be a conversation I bring forward. Next, I only have one service line up (technically three bc it has many pieces) - Physical Therpay. I feel kind of great that I’ve bid on keywords like knee pain, back pain, etc as well as physical therapy near me, occupational therapy and related, and speech therapy and related. But I’ve built those out under one campaign (physical therapy) with seven different ad groups and like 50+ keywords. Am I on the right track there? Do I need to go even more granular? I still have to set up Orthopedics, which will be a BEAST because we have ortho, ortho spine, sports medicine, joint replacements (of the knee and hip persuasion), etc. You guys know our budget is limited. I did the DSA thing and we were pulling for keywords like health insurance and such. Which is weird, we do have pages on what insurance we accept and stuff...but we also have in-Depth pages on each of our services. If you get board, go look mynmchealth.org. Anyway, this is so great and you guys continue to be the highlight of my day. Keep doing good work. And also, I think I need some Sol 8 swag! See you Friday (I hope)!
