It was definitely pulling information from some reddit shitpost, but the AI doesn't know the difference between genuine information and a joke and is absolutely presented as serious advice.

It’s one of google’s current experiment things. You have to enable it on your own I think. I only get it on my phone tho

I get them, but they usually give me pretty innocuous information. First few lines of a wikipedia page type stuff. I'm not surprised others are getting wildly wrong info though, it's only an LLM after all.
