Hey , I have done the 1st problem in another way i.e. Getting a binary string with 0 s -1s and 1s and then making the given X and y from that binary string , can we do like that ? I am unable to get X and y from the string Eg: if X and y are 3 and 6 Then my binary string will be 1 1 -1 -1 which means +8 +4 -2 -1 , from this taking 8 and -2 gives 6, 4 and -1 gives 3. I just want these values from the string . Is there any approach to this @william lin. If yes, please explain?

I would be very grateful to william lin if you could help me with this code(second problem).... i am banging my head for last 36hrs and still the testing tool is not giving correct results... following are the steps: 1: find a random hit in the circle (i,j) say, 2: find the extreme point below (i,j) let it be (mx1,my1), 3: find extreme point above (i,j) let it be (mx2,my2) (obviously mx1 == mx2 and my2 > my1) 4: since we have the chord joining points (mx1,my1) and (mx2,my2).... we will calculate their mid point (mx,my) 5. from (mx,my) we will get rightmost point (mx3,my3) and left most point (mx4,my4) on the circle 6. finally our center is ( (mx3+mx4)/2, (my3+my4)/2 ) #include using namespace std; typedef long long ll; ll R; bool hit, center; ll mx1, my1, mx2, my2, mx3, my3, mx4, my4; ll mx, my; const ll M = 1e9; vector s; int cnt = 0; string HIT = "HIT", WRONG = "WRONG", CENTER = "CENTER",MISS = "MISS"; string query(ll x, ll y) { // cout

Hi, William I trying to start with programming I choose for the first language a c sharp it is that a good choice or is better python or java ? What language u started with. sorry for my English I'm only 13
@bigshaqsmathematicalinstit33184 жыл бұрын
vincentkotrash I suggest you start with a easy to learn language, so yes either of the options you listed is good. But I suggest that you first learn VB. Net, I would say that it is the most beginner friendly!
@codecows79564 жыл бұрын
Go for Python. Visual Basic is not portable and it is not open source, it is awkward and does not teach you about modern high level coding. Python is simple, interactive and widely used. There are lots of free online courses. It runs on all platforms.
@davidakoji36964 жыл бұрын
If it's to start competitive programming honestly just learn C++. C++ is really not hard to learn for competitive programming. and when starting, it's better to start well so just stick with C++. Forget "beginner friendly", there's no language that can't be learned.
