But you can connect the Mini to a Bluetooth speaker. So you can use it like before, but if you start playing music it switches to the Bluetooth speaker, if it's on. You can also turn the speaker on later, it just switches instantly back and forth. :)

Gabriel Fernandez - the problem with the echo dot is it's limitation of audio that it can play. You mostly have to have a paid subscription to do anything. The home products allow you to use the free version of Spotify which was what made me jump on it.

agreed with the mute switch, it might've been easier for it to be a button. but the thing is, with the google home, there are light indicators that you can conveniently check, wether it's muted or not. but for the google home mini, they used the button to help the users understand more that it's on mute (granted that they flipped the switch rather than just saying it), as you can see there's a color indicator on the switch. haha just a random comment 3 yrs later, don't mind me.

I'm back on a tech kick for the first time in years. I have just been kind of stuck to iOS and honestly didn't realize just how much red tape I had. I still love apple's OS for how clean, stable and good looking it is and I also favor the look and feel of their phones. That said, I was being choked out on there with no multi task, no picture in picture, no storage expansion... you literally can do only one application at time. I can do whatever I need on the note... it is much more like the pocket PC that I'm looking for where apple is just still a very reliable phone. I still use my 7plus for imessage almost every day, but I do believe I will stick with the note until apple can catch up on some things like multi tasking. Also, a massive factor that almost trumps all the one l mentioned previously, the notch. The fact that it impedes media in not only portrait but also landscape mode is almost insulting tbh. It's like having a glass of water sitting in front of the TV or some shit. I just don't know if I could do it even with all the other things adjuster. All that being said, I am almost at the end of my 14 day trial on the note so I have to set my choice in stone for at least a year and although I truly think I will, I am still a little worried. Hard to break that apple cycle even when its painfully obvious the Note does much more of what I need it to. 🤯🤯

Lawrence Lentini by default, on Google Home, it responds to both Ok Google and Hey Google. Not sure about mobile phones, thats not what the video covers

I've got a Nexus 6 running 7.1.1 (I know it's old but still an awesome phone) and it only responds to "ok google". I'm pretty sure only the home devices respond to "hey google"
