How neat is the fact, that I'm a student and my to-do list is so messy, and I wanted to start using Google Keep, but the idea was so overwhelming, and so like I opened my youtube account and I saw your video in the recommendations! You're a lifesaver, thank you!

I am a active senior citizen- involved in a lot that’s not work related- but i have pets that need flea meds monthly- they get a brown post it- the dogs photo is on my note with the date due and a reminder- one for each dog. Then i keep green notes for anything knitting group related and pink for my doctors and labs, i use orange for grocery lists and i collaborate with my husband so whoever goes shopping gets what we need. It ties in with my calendar too i just love it. It saves recipes, patterns etc. so much yet so compact and easy.

OMG! I am probably at the far end of the spectrum of users. I will be 82 in a few months and I would like to put to rest that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. When you started the tutorial you mentioned about writing notes to oneself - I am so guilty. “Where is that >@#&)}% note”. I cannot count the number of times I’ve said that. I have tried several different note taking and to-do list programs and Keep blows them all away. I am of German heritage and there is an old saying, “Ve gets too olt too zoon und too late schmart” Not true, I have implemented Keep into my daily life. It is so feature laden that I always seem to find another shortcut or method of keeping track of the myriad of tasks and lists that I’ve created. I’m in the process of restoring a 300 year old house in New England and Keep is helping me keep my sanity. Thank you so much!

The tip I was looking for was at the 6:56 mark. I didn't know what "labels" meant and I have a bunch of notes now which I was "organizing" by a naming convention. The tip about "labels" was what I needed to know! THANKS Tasia!

Dear Tasia! I really thank you for your excellent tutorial. I am from The Netherlands, 68 years old and yesterday I found out Google Keep for the first time. I added subtitles to your video and in that way your tutorial worked out very good for me! Thx a lot.

Thanks for sharing. My favourite Google Keep feature is Grab Text. Take a picture of the desired text e.g. quotation and then upload to Google Keep. Then use the Grab Text function to extract the text. Works well. Even works for handwriting :-)

This is a very nice tutorial. Thank you for that. One deal-breaker for me is the lack of security. This video was created in Sep 2020, and as of today (April 2022), there's still no way to protect a note by passwording it. It looks like a good simple note-taking application but is not as secure as OneNote. Edit: providing the direct desktop link was a great tip for taking simple notes during a meeting via voice recognition.

I came from an iPhone 11 Pro Max, to a Google Pixel Chrome, and thanks to your tips; it's making the transition to Keep that much easier. Thank you Tasia, excellent tips here again. Quick question for you. It seems that there's no Search feature in Keep (on Android). Am I wrong? I'd like to do just that as I keep some information such as listings and would like to be able to seach for a word and would show me all the notes that contain this word, and highlight it within the note as well. I can do this on Chrome (PC) in a tab with Keep open by doing a CTRL-F for find. But nothing seems to exist on Android. Would love your insight on this, or if you have a tip you could share with us all. Thank you 😀
