is this thermostat allow to put 4 digit pin to prevent tampering like the nest learning thermostat?
@landpet2 жыл бұрын
At first glance, it doesn't seem like it supports it. I haven't gone into great lengths to figure out if it can or cannot but scrolling through the menu, I didn't see anything in there to suggest it can. Probably because this isn't as "fun" for kids to play with, the nest thermostat is very "fun" for kids since it spins. This doesn't spin, you just kind of swipe with your finger. I had the nest thermostat 3rd gen at my last place and it just feels more natural when you're navigating through the menu with the physical spin. I just like this one cause of the mirror finish and it costs much less.

Do you know if this (or any other reasonably priced smart thermostat) can run the fan on regular intervals to equalize the temp between floors? Or if it can talk to a remote thermostat on another floor?

Why would an installation video move at such a fast pace, defeated the purpose of me watching this 😩

I hear ya but a lot of people skip chunks towards the end so I just started speeding them up.

How to tell if you have a high or low voltage
@landpet9 ай бұрын
Best to ask someone. I have the super thin wires which usually means low voltage. High voltage are slightly thicker wires, something similar to 14 or 12 gauge. If you’re not sure, ask a professional because working with power is very dangerous

Why would you make it so fast and with music? I was trying to learn
@landpet Жыл бұрын
It's hard to please everyone, in the past I wouldn't do that but some people complained that my video was way too slow and I noticed in KZbin Analytics, most people would either skip those portions or just stop watching the video altogether. So I was trying to find the perfect balance of information while fast forwarding other portions. I do also try my best to answer questions. Again, it's hard to please everyone.

The sped up pace and the music give me anxiety
@landpet Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that, probably not a good idea to watch any of my other videos since I do speed ups and play music on some of them.
