Have tried moving to Google Photos except everytime I do and start going thru my pictures I discover I'm missing a lot of pictures. How do I send these missing pictures to Google Photos from Samsung Galaxy?

If you have photos on your phone and turn on backup it should just load up everything.

They are not mutually exclusive so its like possible for them to conexist on the same phone at ones since they are both very good n useful.

In Google settings you can choose what albums to sync. There's only a few albums it syncs by default
