As far as video goes both cameras are the same as they should be as they have the same hardware. As far as the audio goes I did notice an improvement with the XL however it's a marginal improvement.....they still need to fix this on both phones in my opinion. One note of interest when it comes to the Pixel 3/3XL video and macro shots --- as you have shown before the Pixel 3/XL botches the color of the wall when you zoom in as also seen in this test at 6:05. From what I can remember, the Samsung Note 9 was the only flagship camera you tested this year to get the color of that wall correct whether you were far away or came up real close to it. This may not bother many people (how often do people take macro video shots) but for those who value color accuracy it may be a sticking point. Great job.

E first off the video was really good. That being said the cameras were identical they both took really good still photos and they both took really good video and the audio for still bad on both of them definitely going to need to plug in a microphone or something other than that keep up the great work I'll catch you in the next one have a good one. I don't want a pixel 3 I'd rather have an original Google pixel but maybe that's just me.

As long as I had the pixel making camera Videos I don't see 1080p 60fps it's no confusion my Adobe premiere pro and final cut pro see 1080p 30fps. The camera's are not identical, the pixel 3 is has better white balance and better contrast; it looks better than the xl, which is very disappointing as its the xl i've ordered. Can anyone else see this, watch again you'll see the smaller pixel has a somewhat cooler tone, a better white balance and contrast - the pictures look better as a result

Video quality doesn't seem to differ between the two and is pretty good to my eye. The audio was also similar between both, but it's still the worst audio I've ever heard on a flagship phone.

Seems the audio wasn't that great on either. I'm watching this on my Moto X pure, and the audio from your studio mic was way more omph than either Pixel. The three almost lost you at one point. Wasn't impressed. Camera looked very vivid on both but the X was a bit lighter. Thanks Alex.
