I couldn't find the 256GB Cloudy White Pixel 6 Pro anywhere, so I moved on. I'll hold on to my 4XL for a year or maybe two. Hopefully Google can make the following changes to the future Pixels going forward: - Frosted Glass back on all models - Matte side rails on Pro models - Dual Aperture camera addition on Pro models - ToF front facing camera for 3D secure face unlock on all models. - Seamless integrated mmWave 5G antenna band on all models. - Wider availability, more storage, and color options on Pro models. - Better premium case options (I don't use cases though) - Flat high resolution 120hz QHD display on pro models. - microSD and headphone jack support (This is wishful thinking 🤣) on all models. - Better haptics on all models. - Hardware measuring sensors (heart rate, SpO2 etc) on Pro models.

Really disappointed with the Pro. I sent it back for one main reason. The awful fingerprint scanner. Coming from the 4a 5g and the super fast fp sensor at the back of the phone, I could not get on with the slow and unreliable fp sensor in the Pro. Also felt the phone was too top heavy due to the camera bump so the phone felt heavier and more uncomfortable to hold then it should have.

Best and most detailed review I've seen since the pixel's release! Love the sectioning and detail involved in each bit, with focus on using tools to backup your comments, such as the audio equipment. You've set a bar to keep going forward!

Amazing review Brandon! I'm glad you took your time with it, especially with what happened to your review model. You were able to still make your review unique and address things others didn't like when/how the 4x telephoto is used. It would be nice if the software was a little less aggressive in using digital zoom over the 4x and maybe have an icon in the camera app telling the user when one is being used over the other. I've been following you since those 4 XL leaks you posted. Keep it up!

Maybe it's the matte rails and flat display that your noticing during daily use . I really did like the matte rails on my 4XL but always wanted a more premium design from Google so it's a trade off I'm fine with .

Finally, the review I've been waiting for about the pixel 6 pro. I always appreciate your insight for the pixel devices. Not only has Google step their game up with the design this year but having your own soc is sweet. The pixel can finally add premium to their name. Great review man! Appreciate the attention to detail as I've watched so many reviews of the P6 and P6P and yet I learned some new things! (Specifically HDRNet and the quirk about how to get the software to switch from 4x digital to 4x telephoto lens). I ended up getting a P6 because it was more available and I like the way it felt in my hand more (I hate curved screens). And for selfie video and 4x telephoto...I got a DSLR for that stuff...if I didn't then I totally would have gotten the Pro. Again, great review looking forward to seeing more from you and especially knowing youre an audio guy helps bring a unique perspective on it! 👍

A very comprehensive review. I've had mine since 26th October and the most annoying thing about the 6 Pro is the fingerprint sensor. It's definitely not great although Google have said it is because of the extra security processing. It doesn't work well if the screen is exposed to a lot of light. I really can't fault the camera though - the picture quality is excellent. Night time shots do take quite a bit of time to take but the results are worth it. The strange thing has been the battery. It must be learning my pattern usage as over the course of a week, battery life improved. Overall, it's a great phone and hopefully over time, Google will be able to improve the Pixel series.

That's some coming back up you did. Was really sorry to say the least when your original Pixel 6 Pro broke. But seeing what you made out of it, I'm happy. Keep up the good work BTW am a student and as much as I like this I can't justify buying a new phone when I already have such a good phone (OnePlus 7 Pro). But that ain't stopping me from getting that Pixel Experience. That is the name of a custom A12 ROM that makes my OP7P a damn close Pixel 6 Pro, for free...(90hz instead of 120, Rising camera instead of punch hole. T-Mobile is sold out of the Pro along with everyone else but they have the 6 in stock. I need the 4x telephoto though. I’m using this combo. Works well but you lose some Samsung specific features. I don’t care for those but the one issue I really and I mean really don’t like. It’s with google messages. You can use it but only when someone messages you. You can reply and all with no problem. But say you just want to message someone out of the blue. There’s no way to open the messaging app on the watch. It’s nowhere to be found. It only pops up when someone messages you

I ordered on the day after the announcement. It's been over 3 weeks and I still have yet to get mine. Been watching the ETA chance from October, to December, to January and now thankfully November. At the current ETA it should ship in the next few days.
