*****Please see It is applicable to all Pixel ie 6, 7, 8 , 9..***** if you are having issue doing it . Pls make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom. Under other available update options : Click on install fingerprint caliberation software. Otherwise it will take you for regular software update and it will fail. And you will be in loop .

My screen did the same thing as the first 5 seconds. Turning off the "Smooth Display" has eliminated the issue. This is not an ideal solution and I am not confident that it isn't the beginning of the end for this screen, but I am glad I do not have to spend more cash on this phone just yet.

I did turn off fingerprint reader auto light dimmer smooth display and turn on always on display, I managed to have my phone not to go crazy most off the time, also when start getting hot the green flashing appears again an the display gets darker. Yesterday I bought a brand new Galaxy S24+, I will returning it, the pixel is much better even with the crazy display 😅

That's crazy because my phone screen did the exact same thing that the screen he's repairing did. It was doing that flicker/glitch

Same here, even the white line between the camera and the top right corner is exactly the same, the glitch and the green color, ugh, this is definitively a Google fault

Before you do this you need to go to about phone then tap tap tap on build number until it says you are now a developer then go find developer options and enable USB debugging and then follow his steps
