It's been three months since I purchased this, I'm moving to this phone from Oneplus Nord 2. Pros: Great for photos with magic eraser and other tools, Display is very bright and rich in colors, very fluid UI, hepatic feedback is great, translator, currently playing and google assistant is awesome. Cons: Performance is average due to its processor, I feel my oneplus nord 2 is far better than this phone in performance. You Tube is freezing sometimes and facing stutters in opening web pages in chrome. Connectivity is another problem, 5g signal is weak inside my office and home, so i switched to Airtel from Jio, but still most of the time its only shows LTE. Videos seems to be more contrasty and unnatural. Battery life is average, SOT 4 to 5 hrs in mobile data, which is not good for a flagship.Speakers are not loud. Biggest problem is very slow charging, eventhouh im using 30w Google charges, it barely touches 5w due to excessive heating of the device, i thought due to my location, the phone keep searching for 5 g network, in the process heats up, but i saw many users from cities also have the problem of slow charging and heating. Verdict: Even with clean and fluid software, great cameras and all the AI features, this phone fails to impress me due to its inferior processor and performance. I purchased this phone for 54k by exchanging by old OP Nord 2 and with card offers. This phone is not worth the price of even 50k. Since i have invested more than 50k, I have to use it for atleast 5 years, If google wants to compete with Apple and Samsung it should throw away Tensor (Exynos) processors. There are lot of other phones at this price offer better specs and performance. A great software can not mask the weakness of this processor. I must say that my oneplus nord 2 is a better value for money than this pixel 8

These three are Snapdragon phones with extra features. 8/256 or 8/128 models cost around 14-15K. Chinese give better hardware, that's why I said skip samsung.

Bro, I've been using pixel 8 for almost a year, I moved from oneplus nord 2, pixel 8 camera and software is superb, but heating is a big problem, due to heating phone hangs even during multitasking, worst part is very slow charging, from 15% to full charge it takes more than 5 hrs, but with the mobile switched off charging is quick. I thought my location had poor 5g connection, but I found out many pixel 8 have this slow charging problem due to heating, my main Sim is BSNL, for data I use airtel e sim. Google Search as pixel 8 slow charging.

@@Sivabharani I'm a doctor myself, we have to give a lot of presentations etc. I personally use an S21FE, I find Dex to be extremely useful and with regards to Pixel 8 vs S23, Dex is probably the one feature which is preventing me from choosing Pixel 8. Also, do you think upgrading from S21 FE to S23 makes sense, or should I wait it out?

I too had same issue and thought to use Lineage OS. But actually it is a hardware issue and it was solved by CPU reballing. So I think by flashing Custom OS, it won't be solved. (based on my understanding)
