Howdy, great video review! I pre-ordered my Pixel 8 Pro a couple of weeks ago and should get it next week. As I'm on Xfinity Mobile, this phone had the best promo deal over iPhone (which I'm never getting) and Samsung (currently using a Galaxy A71 5G) so I'm watching all the Pixel 8 Pro videos I can find. The Magic Eraser and Video AI is what sold me on this Pro phone. Also, I just adore the T-shirt you are wearing!!!! I used to be an Algebra "expert" back in my day, but like my knowledge of 5 languages, use it or lose it. I can't remember a thing so us Boomers are "old folks" and I can barely speak English now (LOL). Looking forward to experimenting with all the camera and video features on my next vacation where I can really feel good about correcting my pictures that get photobombed by rude people!.

I just wanna say I freaking love your shirts, I know everyone comments the same lol! Onto the actual review, good stuff. I really love your reviews and the explanations and break downs of points where we the "viewer" might have reservations. You don't throw out tons of tech words and try to overwhelm people. Got the pro in bay blue. I got it specifically for the cameras, and it doesn't disappoint! It is too big IMO. A 6.1 inch phone with 5x zoom would be perfect. But the large screen is nice when consuming media😊

Reception. Very important to me. Should also be very important to anyone who intends to make a call sometime. Even if it's maps reception. If it's unstable, it's not worth purchasing, even at a discount.

At 4:40, Lisa says that next year she expects a refreshed CPU architecture. Perhaps, it's worth waiting for Pixel 9?. Currently on Galaxy S21, only issues I have is the crap battery life and very stuttery camera which is why I'm considering the pixel upgrade

Hi Lisa, My Pixel 4 is starting to do things on it's own, so I'm ready to get a new phone. Our AT&T Carrier will pay for my new phone by giving me credits for 36 months. The pixel 8 pro and the Galaxy S24+ are my choices. I take lots of pictures. I hope the facial recognition sign in is better than my pixel 4. I am turning 79 in May so I need features which can sense when I need help, (like a fall or car crash). What is your preferred phone? Thanks, John😂

Hi Lisa, Been years since I've watched your reviews. Only a couple. Just checking out the new pixel and saw your name while scrolling. Your reviews are always very thorough and a little humorous. And always thought if that was your sports car you always took pics of, you're a sporty lady. Anyway, the Pixel 8 pro would be my choice if i had as much money to burn as a lot of people. That's why I'm still using a pixel 3xl. Why? Money and.... front facing stereo speakers. That's my, gotta have, since my Moto x pure, then my Nexus 6 and so on. Then Google said, we don't care about what you want, after the 3xl, and now I wait. I wait for a new Xperia 1 mark 3 slips into my price range. Older but still top quality. And it's got those speakers I demand. Those new colors of the pixels are nice, but I don't think if I could afford it, I'd pay a grand for a phone. That's just sick. But, with 7 years of updates, that's getting better, but we need to go back to being able to replace our batteries ourselves. Then a seven year phone is more conceivable. But still not a grand or more. Come on. Are the components made out of platinum? These companies are swimming in profits, from consumers with big bank accounts. Nuff said. Thanks Lisa .
