Had mine for about a month. Been using it as my main for now. Overall it has done well and performed better than I expected. Love the front screen and find I use the interior screen more than I expected. What it needs; better battery handling, better cpu, lighter weight, and apps that are designed for a fold. Overall it is a very good phone. fyi - I went with a Pitaka minimal case.

Out of all of the flips and folds I've had over the years the P9PF for me is the best I've ever had. I personally even love the shape including the hinge area. This is the one phone that I'm excited to use everyday. It does everything I need it to do. My 16 Pro Max has now been relegated to use as a second phone. For me personally, I wish the only thing that could improve is faster charging. 😊

That frame with the really big hinge area was a deal breaker for me. It looks weird to me. I'm still rocking my original fold. Works great with no issues at all.

It's a good phone but the drawbacks made me sell it especially for the price tag. I ended up buying the vivo x fold 3 pro ( best fold of the year) for the win.

This is an excellent phone, I've had mine since it launched and I've loved every minute of it. The camera is great, yes I understand a lot is done in processing but shots I have of my dog running on the beach, cat jumping of things is far superior than my old phone the S24 Ultra which came out a blurry mess. With still shots in dodgy light the S24 destroyed it though and with zoom. 90% of the time the phone runs smooth but occasionally in open screen if I have Disney+ on and a game it will crash. It's rare but it happens. I agree on the price though it's overpriced and especially on carriers here in the UK so I probably switch up with my carrier for the 9 pro. The bezels and form factor of the 9 pro fold are quirky when shut but you almost grow to love them I think but it's worth having hinge protection. I dropped my phone off a very small coffee table in an expensive case without hinge protection and it dented the hinge.

Yes agreed! The 9 pro fold was a huge jump compared to the previous phone. It's highly unlikely for a company to give big feature upgrades consecutively. We can expect a very minor performance and battery increases, or maybe a fater charging speed that's it.

@TechOdyssey Thanks, just curious. Sensitivity to screen "shimmer" varies from individual to individual. I'm just watching some reviewers say that screen figuratively makes their eye bleed 🙂(from what I understand it's a product of improperly implemented PWM or Pulse Width Modulation where the brightness is controlled by rapidly turning the LEDs on and off)Essentially that puts the user in a position of staring at a strobe light

@ I’m certainly not sensitive to this so maybe that’s why I don’t have any issues. I know that PWM does bother some people so it’s understandable but I don’t think it’s a widespread major issue if it exists.

@ hi there !! Yes I can tell you why well first of all the device quality!! It’s great don’t get me wrong but when I hold the z fold 6 I can literally feel is made to last vs the pixel 9 pro fold second the corners are to noticeable and bothers me a lot and the most important thing for me in the app KZbin even if the screen is bigger in the pixel (8 In) you can enjoy more screen sizes in the fold 6 it looks like the apps are more compatible with the Samsung z fold 6 also customization I love how can you customize the Samsung vs pixel and the multitasking is better as well on the z fold 6 POV a lot of people says that if you coming from an iPhone is better to get a pixel but I think it should be a Samsung

Googoe is on the way for sure, but still Samsung is the king of Folds still. :) Did not like my Pixel Fold so much as my Fold6. :) But good thing we all think different so we like different styles/things. :))

I do have and enjoy the Vivo, and it's excellent and has really impressive cameras too. What is it that is making you want to switch to the Vivo?

@TechOdyssey only because Average Dad did a test between the two and Vivo came out on top, and with other reviewers, it definitely has the camera edge, and I love the blue Vivo, I still have time to return the OPPO, it's a great phone but the camera is important to me. Thanks for replying. ❤️

Bootleg fold. I am digging the 1st gen pixel fold i got for 159$ with a cracked lens. But im not going to lie, the surface duo 2 function is way better and the battery is better lol.
