I am a pixel user but I like the dynamic island. The way it integrates with apps like maps, music, ride share apps is pretty cool and useful. Not just a gimmick. FaceID is awesome too

iPhones definitely hold their value a lot more. However, if you’re an android fan like me you can get a year old Android flagship for near half the price! A brand new Pixel 8 Pro is 625 at Best Buy but you can easily find a mint condition used one for 400.

I have a pixel 9 pro XL and got a teal iPhone 16. Love the pixel all around, just might pick up the smaller pro.... tried to love the iPhone because I like how the teal colored iPhone finish looks but based on operating systems iOS 18 vs Android 15.. I love android 15 better. Hope pixel 9 pro gets a nice teal for the mid year refresh or something.

@pitbullash just recently started charging it to only 80% about 1 week ago. And my battery typically last 24- 27 hours and then it is placed on the charger somewhere between %6-%10 battery life left.

I have both the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. Love them both equally. It is a wash as to which did pro better in my opinion. I feel AI is better on the pixel but I don’t use neither ai features on both phones or I forget that it is there. SIM card tray. Since they have all gotten the e-sim situation in order it doesn’t matter anymore. I even switched carriers just to fix RCS and the eSIM swap was just seamless.

I agree 100 percent. Something about using the Pixel is FAR better than my iPhone. Also the call assist on Pixel is top notch!! My iPhone 15 pro is now on the bench and the Pixel is my starting player

Great comparison! As someone who uses both iOS and android I have to say google needs to earn back the trust of the consumer with reliability. They have a long road ahead of them. I have had pixels with battery issues, signal issues, heating issues and stuck in a boot loop. Couldn’t tell you the last time Apple or Samsung let me down like that. I’m sure the 9 is great, but the trust is gone.

You seem to prefer Pixel phones over any other Android why is it that you like stock Android over the OS of other manufacturers like Samsung? I'm curious because I get it would run a bit smoother to not have a skin on top but I get bored with the same icons and the lack of custom ability so what is it that drew you to stock Android over all these different Android OSs that are available

Hey J. Great video again, and I agree....the Pixel 9 Pro (overall) is a better choice as a daily driver ... I'm not one who spends all day gaming, taking tons of video, etc., but I do stream content, I listen to music all day, I do text, etc., and I must say that both the Pixel 9 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro are pretty much neck and neck when it comes to battery life.....I wish that Google would just scrap the Tensor Chips and go with SD's from here on out....if they would do this, Pixel phones would literally be "flying off the shelves!"

I agree I have the regular pixel 9 which to me is a minor difference between the pro models, weaker selfie, 4 less gigs of ram and no telephoto lens. I do like the matte sides on it better then the glossy, and adding a dbrand matte back the phone is fully matt. I do like how the iphone 16 pro video is really nice, and the AAA gaming on there you cant beat. To me if your not a heavy gamer (pixel runs all the little games I run no problem) and dont need the best video recording on a phone then the pixel is def your best bet this year.

Good one, and i think Pixel p Pro max is the Phone to get on Android side this year. (If you not into folds) and 16 Pro Max if into Ios..simple. :) I do get better camera/video and Battery on my 16 Pro Max over my pixel Tho. This year they did very solid on battery on their 16 Pro Max. think it beats all my other phones atm. for my /same/daily use. But these days it´s a lot of "good/solid" phones out there.

You are not comparing displays, you are comparing videos. The iphone has taken a lower exposure video, for not blurring the white windows on the back and thus underexposing the car. That is all. It is a camera issue.

I have been using Android for years and switched to the iPhone. The simplicity of the iPhone hardware and software is what makes me stick to it. Everything is so much balanced on the iPhone. On Android apps are designed more poorly, the experience is inconsistent between phones and it doesn’t feel comfortable.

@@TheKelz I would say that's true between brands more than it is Android overall you know what you're going to get with Samsung ....so I think it's hard to compare in that sense because iOS is one simple brand whereas Android is an OS with multiple skins depending on the manufacturer.. I would take a Samsung phone over an iPhone any day of the week The z-fold six like I have I also have the Z flip 6 I would take either one of those over an iPhone. I've had and was a previous iPhone user and once I discovered all that Android could do it was just too hard to go back. Plus I despise Apple as a company The way that they positioned their new cameras.... All they did was take the cameras from a diagonal standpoint and put them vertical. Iwould love to ask somebody what the point of that was other than making every single customer have to buy a new case .....that's why I don't like Apple. had a situation years back must have been 7 years ago and I went to the Apple store a week later with frayed USB lihtning cable and the sales representative and manager both said "we can assist you in buying another cord" the phone was a week old .....it was stuff like that consistently happening that made me realize that Apple only cared about money and their products were overpriced and under powered. In my opinion apples innovation died when Steve Jobs unfortunately passed away they haven't been innovative at all ever since Tim Cook took over

@@TheKelz I just bought a Samsung Galaxy book 4 edge the 14-in compare it against a MacBook pro with the max chip that laptop cost me $899 as a Best buy total tech member. The MacBook pro is north of $3,000. The specs are in Apple's favor slightly ......but for substantial difference in price there's no way the margin is worth it .... it's too small and that's exactly what I mean about Apple .The Samsung s24 ultra and the iPhone are always fairly close but I could do 25,000 things on the s24 ultra and all Apple did this year was make their iPhone OS ook like an Android.... it's almost like they're out of ideas. I put more faith in the company NOTHING coming up with more innovative things than the next few years than Apple. I believe NOTHING is probably going to somewhat be the next Apple of this generation where they just come out of nowhere. I hope they make a flagship I think that Android skin is awesome ....but you get the point. If you really look at it being an Android user you can't tell me that all the customization is less Apple and more Samsung or Android because it is they ran out of ideas so they just took an Android and tried to make it their own
