i had the pixel watch one, gave it to my father in-law. The pixel watch two feels lighter and now i have it i dont really notice the difference. i do notice how much faster it charges.

Think im gonna get one! It'd be my first smart watch. When smart watches first came out i thought they were ridiculously oversized, they didnt look watch sized, more concerned about maximizing screen size. But the market seemed to pretend there was no issue here, people walking around with a smartphone sized screens strapped to their wrist. The pixel watch made me reconsider. Went to try on a galaxy watch 6 classic to compare, still found them to chunky compared to the pixel watch. Medium sized male wrist fyi.

Probably tge reason why Google decide to use pogo pins for charging is for faster and more efficient charging, however, I have encountered longevity problems with charging pads corrosion at the back of a watch. Hope they are using a better material for those charging pads.

a great video to watch, my wife and I got our new pixel 8 phones yesterday. They both came with a free Google Pixel Watch 2. I never knew you could buy straps. Interesting. I think they are a little bit on the feminine side. So I will probably sell mine

Good review mate. Just wondering, is it expected that the only center sensor will light up behind the watch? It has a bunch of sensors, just wondering why it's the only center lighting up.

It is. A flat glass design or a bezel around it like Samsung is better

And not to forget, Google offers no repairs for these watches, at all. Damaged = landfill and buy a new one.

The aluminum body isnt really an upgrade. Stainless steel is more durable and other watchmakers charge a couple hundred extra to upgrade to stainless steel. Besides the 8% battery life increase, they didn't upgrade much

Two words “ Too Small” The design looks quite cool but it’s too small for my liking and protection seems pretty non existent. Looked at this when it was released but went for the Samsung watch 6 classic more bang for your buck.

I had same issue. When it finally came off, I was worried I had broken it. That said, the larger band snapped right in and now it fits perfectly.

I have the Apple Watch Ultra and it has a 36 hour battery life, 12 hours longer than the Pixel Watch 2.

Such a tiny smartwatch, almost looks like it's made for kids. Has thick chunky bezels too. I honestly don't see anyone buying this over a Galaxy Watch 🤷 It's almost as if Google's design team remembered just a day before the launch event that they had to launch an updated version of the watch, so they just announced this instead. Lol 😂

Some of us have skinny wrists, not everyone is overweight. I doubt you tried it anyway. I most definitely bought this over Galaxy Watch as the design is much better, more sleek, and you'll always get the latest and greatest from Google. Spoiler alert, it's always good to have options. 😉

Anyways, if you ever get a chance to look at the world map, you’ll find out that there are other countries out there that exist, and not just yours. Lol. I don’t need to try it out because Google knows this watch won’t sell outside of the 9 countries it’s available in. One of my friends imported it from the US and I literally laughed at it. It’s basically a tiny Fitbit watch running on wear OS 😂

Honestly, the design is dumb. The domed glass is more prone to damage than something like a Galaxy Watch or Ticwatch, plus Google offers no repairs for it if it does get damaged. Then you're left with a female sized smart watch with bezels from a decade ago. The least they could have done was offer 2 sizes. It isn't like nobody told them that after the first version...
