Google Pixel Watch 3 Unboxing and Setup!

Bought the pixel 1 a year ago. Just climbed into the Fitbit app, 6 months premium. Don't know how much Fitbit will be free like the Pixel 3. Trickling back to the previous models. If not I'll just go back to the Fitiv app, and Strava app in the Pixel watch 1. These pebble designs are so smooth and comfortable.

i did a pretty long and rugged bike ride yesterday and battery was over 50% when i got home. and it was still comfortable after all that.

I just got my PW3 as it's a nice looking watch, but I did immediately disable the gimmicky health features on it and disable some other bloat that was not needed. I use my watch as a smartwatch, not a wannabe fitness tracker. Wear OS is not optimized to be a fitness tracker.

@@GrimAbstract It's not accuracy I'm worried about. It's the fact that Wear OS is not optimized for fitness activities as the OS itself is already a battery hog. I'm just saying Wear OS is not efficient enough for fitness tracking at the moment. I personally don't use any Wear OS device for any type of fitness tracking.

@@jamesm568 in that sense, I can sort of agree if battery life is what you are worried about. I personally just charge my watch at night and use a fitness ring for my sleep tracking,but I can see people not wanting to do that or spend the money.

Both, it's like grey with greenish hue. Won't match titanium s24u tho, I have one and compared it to the watch in person, looks kinda off. I'd get silver watch and change white band to something else

I remember when Android Wear was lauched, I got my own LG G Watch, and was so excited cause the os itself looked so cool and innovative. Now in 2024 it's a Google-fied watchOS rip off (more about UX than UI), it makes me kinda sad ab it.
