Google's $20 P&E to USB C Adapter

I have a tail Air and I also use an iPad as a control surface - it looks like this device would provide POE to the tail air, but what if I wanted to occasionally use it with the iPad, would it provide power and ethernet to that successfully???

Hi Anthony what about if you are using a POE switch and you didnt plug the $20 dollar adapter in would the adaptet still work? That would be usful for many too. Thanks

That's a really good question. Without having tested it, I'm gonna guess the answer is no.

A Wired Ethernet connection requires the dedicated USB-C to Ethernet Adapter for Tail Air.
