Is it possible to have each row that is not checked off as being complete to be copied to different tab. Say tab one being the master data tab and tab #2 sheet just showing uncompleted task. So that you could just click the different tags and have your data sorted in those tabs. All your videos very helpful thank you for the great info.

Hi. Could you please explain how to add the counter of the completed tasks. For example 3/6 complete. I saw I should concatenate and add some sums, but haven't been able to do it. Thanks

Professor, thanks for the great content. I did it here and it worked well for some time but now my sheet is replacing the timestamp values for old values. I marked the checkbox yesterday and today it returned to last week's value. Do you know why is this happening?

I have something similar but not the same. Once I check any additional boxes in my list, the new item gets a time / date stamp, while all the previously dated (completed) items get a "TRUE". Not sure why.

I figured it out, in my excel the problem is that commas are not the correct way to separate values, i used ; instead and it worked

Thank you for this. What would the format look like if the date wasn't dependent on anything else? For instance, opening a new 'form' with a place for the date, I would like the date to automatically populate, but not change when I come back to it.

I was wondering if anyone can help me.... On 1 sheet I have a task list with a whole years worth of tasks on it (so eg 200 tasks and with how many hours each task will take in the next column)... I would like to have a new sheet for a daily task list where I can input how many hours I have available that day, and would like google sheets to automatically fill in the tasks upto the amount of time I have inputted, is this possible? Can you do auto summary to be reflected on the next sheet. Its like pressing Done button then the checklist will refresh and old data will be summarized on the other sheet.

Hello, how can I change the settings to drag down a time or date to copy it down the cell without the date changing?

You should copy it, select the cells where it goes, and then paste it instead of dragging it down. That will work. I'm not aware of a way to change it in the settings.
