The Google Sheets IF function allows to use two or more logical
expressions using the AND function. Let's consider an example: Say a recruiter wants to assign the text string "Yes" as the value for IF to return if two conditions or met: A candidate should have scored greater than or equal to 75, each on the written test AND interview. For this scenario, the first argument of the IF function formula should have two logical expressions. These can be used by making them the arguments of the AND function and nesting it inside IF.
If these conditions are not met, the recruiter wants IF to return "No".

Let's take a look at the format of the IF function formula:
=IF(logical_expression, value_if_true, value_if_false)
logical_expression is an expression that will evaluate to either true or false.
value_if_true is the value that IF should return if logical_expression is true.
value_if_false is the value that IF should return if logical_expression is false.
The format of the AND function formula is:
=AND(logical_expression1, [logical_expression2, …])
The IF-AND combo function formula is:
=IF(AND(logical_expression1, [logical_expression2, …]), value_if_true, value_if_false)
Note that AND has been substituted for the logical_expression argument of IF.
Example
For the scenario given in the first paragraph, let's assume that cells B2 and B3 have the scores for written test and interview:
=IF(AND(B2[substitute greater-than-or-equal-to symbol]75, B3[substitute greater-than-or-equal-to symbol]75),"Yes", "No")
IF will return Yes, if both the logical expressions evaluates to TRUE. Else IF will return No.
