True, as time goes on as a species, brains WILL get smaller due to AI taking the creative and logical loads off of us! You know the appendix? That now useless organ that ONCE was for the digestion of plat matter? Since processed food came along it became completely pointless and now known as (that one explody organ) Or the teeth? Still useful obvs but weaker now due to processed (softer, easier to chew) foods that, over time, made evolution think food is getting softer, therefore, causing the body to become lazy and make our teeth weaker. What I really want from Google is reliable software/hardware. I've been running a Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2 since release and have not been impressed by the experience. Maybe it's related to your implementation of AI into products...maybe it's cause you fired 12,000 people recently. Who can say? But many apps/features that used to work fine on my Pixel 3 XL have had major issues recently. I want my assistant to reliably set notifications and alarms without creating a new alarm every time I say "Set an alarm for 30 minutes"; if you're going to do this, at least gave me a way to mass delete the ridiculous amount of alarms (used to be a feature, but was removed). I want my phone to connect to the bluetooth in my car without having to restart it. I never want to have situations where text messages stop sending for extended periods of time until I restart the phone. I want wearables that tell you when they're dying, especially when the battery barely last a day (I know this is fixed now, but I couldn't believe the Pixel Watch 2 launched without this.)

Currently talking with Gemini right now, first time too- apparently the amount of times I’ve gone to chat-bot sites have influenced them, because after a couple messages they went into a semi-roleplay mode- It’s actually pretty fun! We’re currently “watching” charlotte’s web and “sitting” on a beanbag chair together. So my suggestion is this; “casual mode”. I saw a “business mode” or something in the corner of the screen, and I think that having a casual variation of that option would be fun, just to talk with Gemini like a regular person or even roleplay scenarios with them! Aside from the suggestion, Gemini is super cool so far =3

They have a specific model for on-device machine learning/generative AI workloads called Gemini Nano. For now, as far as I know, some Gboard and Google messages based features are introduced. But the future would be interesting. Also, it seems that Google is too busy (or unfocused) in competing with OpenAI and Microsoft so much so that Apple will innovate more in terms of on-device generative AI applications than them. Hopefully, Apple delivers even if it takes them to take the help of OpenAI (or Google itself) because this will help spark Google to focus again on Google Assistant-esque features, now with the help of a much more powerful technology via the Gemini family of models.
